my salesperson was excellent in finding the car I wanted with all the features I selected at the exact price I could afford. She was also great at dealing with my insurance company so I drove away with all with all the features I selected at the exact price I could afford. She was also great at dealing with my insurance company so I drove away with all of the paperwork I needed. the dealership facility was clean and comfortable for the purchasing session ,and the managers were a pleasure to deal with. The sales person was also very helpful in introducing me to the service staff. More
First let me note that due to the way the survey is questioned these scores are for the overall experience of the dealership. As far as Chris Crews did as the sales person he would receive all 5's from questioned these scores are for the overall experience of the dealership. As far as Chris Crews did as the sales person he would receive all 5's from me. He did a great job going over all my options and helping me get the best deal I believe I could get. Along with showing me all the trucks that were available to me in the price range I had. After I picked out the truck we were planning on going through an outside bank Grow Finc. After talking with Matt in financing he told us he could get us a better rate. So because of the cheaper monthly payment we went with Toyota instead. About a week or 2 later we got a call saying they were unable to get us the rate and had another rate and term. When we went back in to Gettel the rate was lower but was a shorter term and made a way higher monthly payment then what I told Matt we could afford when signing the first contract. Luckily personally knowing the manager at Grow Finc. I called her the next morning and she still had the original contact we first were going to use. She told me she needed the buyers contract faxed to her. I called Manuel that morning at 8:30am on 1/19/11 and spoke to him for about 5-10 mins explaining that we were going with Grow Finc. and I needed him to fax over to them the new buyers contract and take off the down payment and gap coverage but make sure the road hazard is kept on the contract. Also telling him this was my last day of vacation and wanted to wrapped this deal up today. At noon I called Grow Finc. and ask if they had received anything from Gettel Toyota. She informed me they have not and she wanted to contact them. I gave Grow the number to contact Manuel and they attempted a few times and left messages but no answer or call backs. I received a call from Dawn at grow at 4:35 saying still nothing from Gettel. At 4:40pm I called Manuel spoke with him about the time this is taking and I was told it was busy and he is working on it. At 4:50pm they recieved a buyers guide with the down payment and gap coverage still on it after telling Manuel I did not want it on there. The next day 1/20 I received a voice mail on my cell from Roy Smalls saying he hasn't heard anything from myself or the bank and to call him. I called him back at 12:15pm left a message to call me back. At 10:00 pm I decided to go to bed not receiving a call back from Roy. On 1/25 4 days later finally got a call from Gettel on my cell but was unable to answer due to being at work. But no message was left. I called back leaving another message for Roy on his voicemail assuming he was the one that called. After getting a call from my wife saying she was gettings calls and telling them to call me back not her. Still I never received a call back. Once getting home at 3pm. I tried one last time to call Roy. Finally getting to talk to him I told him we were meeting with Grow on 1/27 at noon and I needed the correct buyers guide to be faxed to them this time. On 1/26 Grow told me they finally received a buyers contract. On 1/27 we arrived at Grow and I pointed out that Gettel did not send the buyers contract correctly. The down payment and gap coverage was taken off. But they also took off the Road Hazard off which I specifically told Manuel not too. Without the correct one Grow was not able to finish. We called Gettel from the bank asking for a manager or anyone in financing but with no luck only getting voicemails. As we left the bank to head to Gettel Travis from financing called back and sent the correct contract within 2 mins of talking to him. Causing us to circle back around and go back to the bank. Also later that day Travis had the contract ready for us to sign once we showed up at Gettel later that afternoon and was out of there with in 10mins. Once again Chris and Travis did a great job with with us and all 5's. But the customer service and the length of time to get this wrapped up for the others involved was not acceptable to me and with this being our 3rd vehicle purchase from Gettel Toyota. I am strongly considering going somewhere else for my next vehicle due to this issue and hope you can find resolution to this before another customer is effected. More
We had decided to purchase a Crossover type vehicle and did not have much luck with the Ford Edge or the Cadillac SRX due to the height of the seats. My wife has a bad back and could not get into the cars did not have much luck with the Ford Edge or the Cadillac SRX due to the height of the seats. My wife has a bad back and could not get into the cars without a lot of difficulty. We stopped at Gettel Toyota to LOOK at the Venza to see if my wife found it any easier to get in and out of than the other cars. She loved the car and found that entry and exit was not a problem. All the time our sales person, Rob Williams, was patient, understanding and not at all "pushy". We then decided to see what kind of a deal we could make on our trade, a 2006 Cadillac DTS, and the "loaded" Venza that tricked out at 38.8k. It took a bit of negotiating with the Manager Sean McGuire and Rob but we came to a price that we considered very fair. The Finance guy, Matt Burriss(we did not finance)explained the benefits of the Toyota extended warranty, again without any pressure, which we decided to take since we generally hold our cars for more than 7 years. Overall, as far as buying a new car, this was a very good purchase experience. All three people that we dealt with acted in a professional but not overbearing manner, which unfortunately we have experienced at other Dealerships in the past. I can recommend Gettel Toyota without any reservations if you are considering the purchase of a Toyota vehicle. More
In forty years of buying cars, Gettel Toyota was the best experience that we have ever had in purchasing a brand new car. From our Salesman Damian, the Finance Manager Matt, Sales Manager Shawn and Travis experience that we have ever had in purchasing a brand new car. From our Salesman Damian, the Finance Manager Matt, Sales Manager Shawn and Travis were the friendliest people that we have dealt with. We wanted to get some accessories for our new Camry so we had to deal with the parts department. Lappe was also very friendly and helpful. When buying a new car there are so many questions and comparisions to make and they never lost their patience with us. Gettel Toyota is a great dealership and I will highly recommend it to friends and family! More
FRAUDULENT ADVERTISING ALERT::::::::::::::::::: I FRAUDULENT ADVERTISING ALERT::::::::::::::::::: I received a letter offering 100% MSRP value for my used car in trade for a new car (the fine print FRAUDULENT ADVERTISING ALERT::::::::::::::::::: I received a letter offering 100% MSRP value for my used car in trade for a new car (the fine print was very vague about mileage deduction). I did my homework and new knew the high and low blue book values for my car and internet new price for the new model I wanted. In the end, I was quoted a price which was higher than elsewhere WITHOUT A TRADE. My car's value is between $10-12,000 - so they would have literally STOLEN my car for NOTHING. THIS LETTER WAS FALSE AND MISLEADING ADVERTISING! On further internet research, it seems that Gettel has done this before as I read about someone with a similar experience in 2008. More
Absolutely, the worst dealership experience I have ever Absolutely, the worst dealership experience I have ever had. They were friendly at first and they try to fool you. Once your in the dealing part of t Absolutely, the worst dealership experience I have ever had. They were friendly at first and they try to fool you. Once your in the dealing part of the buy then the friendly charm goes away. My paperwork was thrown like a ragdoll around the whole place for an entire week. I needed a secondary vehicle and I couldnt wait much longer. Then the best part was when my paperwork got approved by the bank. The finance manager by the name of "Ray" all of a sudden says no deal and pulls my paperwork back AFTER I SIGNED FOR THE TRUCK!!!!. They also ran my credit SIX TIMES!!!!! without my approval!!!. That shot my credit score to hell!!!. Neatless, to say after an entire week of waiting around I went to another dealer (firkens chyrsler used) and they helped me quite well and put me in the truck that I wanted. Don't waste your time at Gettel. Go to someone who actually gives REAL CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!. If you still want to take your chances, dont go with David Moran or Nick G. They are lousy salesman and they lack real customer service skills. More
Ok the worst dealer experience ever. I was in with my family 1 month ago, and looking for the new prius. Dave Martini was yelling this isn't a musuem we can't give these things away, I said slow down cow family 1 month ago, and looking for the new prius. Dave Martini was yelling this isn't a musuem we can't give these things away, I said slow down cowboy. He tried getting me to pay outrageous sticker prices. finally the sales man who i thought his name was marijuana starts saying to me lets do it now and laying the pressure on. i was horrified. as the saleman was getting the prius pulled up, i saw david martini in his truck across the street snorting what i belive to be was drugs. i said to the wife lets get out of this hell hole. maraouna chased me and was yelling what do you have to think about? i drove to germain and bought the car from tucker mayer. it was wonderful. i paid only 4 thousand over list and love the prius thanks germain. ps wierd thing happened david martini now cuts my lawn! so much for that!
