I told them what we were willing to do and they came back with an astronomical high offe The only issue I had with dealer was the negotiating process. I told them what we were willing to do and they came back with an astronomical high offer and very low value for my trade. I took it as an insult and just testing us to see if we were stupid enough to accept it. I'm sure some do. My advice to the dealer is don't insult the customer trying to gouge them. Understand what the customer wants and don't give them an offer unless it's close to whst they asked for in the first place. My advice to the customer is don't take their first offer. In the end after we got upset and stressed out they presented a good offer. My point to them is that it should never get to that point. More
