This is the third vehicle in two years and the first time we've EVER had a problem with financing. Matt Parnell made a mistake, blamed it on us rather than taking responsibility for it, his manager defended him rather than admit he entered the wrong social security number and caused an alert to be placed in the process. This was confirmed by the Suncoat credit union. Matt and his manager continued to insist this was something done on our end (even after we confirmed it and received a letter from the credit union stating the application wasn't complete). Suncoast verified all our information and stated the information was filed wrong and there were a lot of notes to sort through. They (suncoast) then needed to have the dealership to finish their (dealership) end but when confronted, they (financial team) still insisted the problem didn't come from their (Financial team) end and we needed to contact and finish the loan. These two individuals need to relearn how to do their job and take responsibility for their mistakes rather than shoving them off on the customer. Over 800 on the credit score yet all of a sudden there's a red flag after he entered the social security wrong and told us WE placed the alert on there ourselves. Toyota almost lost this sale because of the blatant irresponsibility of the financial team. More
