I brought my vehicle in with an appointment, for an estimate to repair a defect in the dash. The dash is separating. I received the estimate 1.5 hours later. My car is out of warranty, the dealership estimate to repair a defect in the dash. The dash is separating. I received the estimate 1.5 hours later. My car is out of warranty, the dealership will not stand behind the product due to “no recall issued”. It was recommended to contact Toyota directly, with the estimate, as there is a “Goodwill program” in which Corporate will assist auto owners with defect issues not under warranty. After recontacting Toyota with the estimate, they will not offer assistance with this matter. After purchasing numerous new Toyotas from this dealership, I’ve never had a factory defect. I’m surprised and disappointed that Toyota nor Deluca are standing behind the Highlander purchased new from them in 2019. More
