That’s right … they try and call in “market based” pricing. They use high values from KBB to buy low and sell high. The real challenge is all the extraneous fees also added afterwards. Prep fees (1000+), reconditioning fees (1400), electronic tags (400) and false credits for financing and trade in. These are all made up car jargon to trick clients into paying more. They don’t like clients that do their homework first. Jexon was a person that forwarded me an email and suggested they only price units up hundreds. Hmmm …. Now in truth, I emailed Kyle and never got to him. Email was first, somehow, directed to Emma, so that’s three people when only one was requested directly. Jexson is likely a great person but he has been trained in old school ways to pad his commissions. Had he offered true value, honesty, and transparency he would have sold units and also gotten a free referral source. Perhaps a little shortsighted and hopefully he will continue to learn. I would not recommend this dealer and cannot believe in 2023 we still have not found the equitable and fair way to sell cars like other transactional items like clothes. More
