Always a Problem Every single time that I take my Hyundai Santa Fe in to service the service department overbooks the number of cars coming in during a certain time. T Every single time that I take my Hyundai Santa Fe in to service the service department overbooks the number of cars coming in during a certain time. Therefore they first are very positive that your car will be ready within x amount of time you eagerly wait for a phone call or Pace in the waiting room. The call Never Comes make an appointment at 7 a.m. first appointment of the day they promised to call me at 9 at 10:30 I try to reach them to no avail after multiple tries I finally get a call back once again the car is not ready and the person who checked my car and Promises to keep a watch on my car and make sure everything is being done so far it has taken 4 hours and my car is still not finished. My car was finally finished at 6:00 p.m. This repair was due to a check engine message. The next day I had to have my car towed back because it wouldn't srart due ti a faulty switch the battery was dead. They then repaired it again in about 30 minutes. I cannot recommend the service at Hyundai Santa Fe on Bee Ridge Road Sarasota More

The tires came filled with nitrogen instead of air. My dashboard had shown low air pressure on the left front tire for a couple of days. But this morning it showed low pressure' on most of the tires. I drove from Venice to Sarasota to hhave them look at it. When I arrived, I explained my 'proboem' with one of the service advisors. He said they would take a look and that I was to go to the service lounge, they would come get me when the car was ready.. I said my name is Charlie and left. There were nice huge pillowed chairs there and I had a seat. Matter of fact, I went to sleep. Three HOURS later, I went back to the service adevisor to see what was going on. My car was sitt g right where I left it ad a cardboard sign on the service advisor's desk, 'Gone For The Day' The adjacent advisor said he knew nothing about it but it had been there a long time. I explained my situation and the service advisor said to 'stay here. I'll handle it myself" It took himless than 10 minutes to do the job I had waited 3 house fo. You decide the quality of service. More

Coming from New York, and being a woman, I get very cautious about car repair. Enough said! I can assure you that Gettel will take good care of you and that is such a relief. More

I left a message with my apologies on the Monday and within an hour they emailed a new appointment for Tuesday. Service there is ALWAYS friendly and efficient. The employees are welcoming and they always talk with you to ensure exactly what you want done. They also checked my address (which had changed) and ran the car through their car wash. More

He said well he's off today but wait here outside and a service rep will be right with you. While waiting not one but three other cars pull in behind me. They go into the service reps office and all of a sudden those three cars get taken care of before mine which I did have an appointment. I brought my friend into the waiting room as it was getting cold and then I went into the service rep's office and waited at least 5 minutes. All three rep's were busy with someone at their desk, A women customer just walks in and a lady rep said "Who next? Oh! I guess you are to the women who just walked in." I said no I am and already 4 others went ahead of me. She did take me but wouldn't have if I was still waiting outside. That is a lousy system and not very customer friendly. You should look into number for the customer to take as they arrive. More
GPS unit Failure After contacting Bob Wood in the Service department he asked the right questions about any additional warranty and the Azera was 3years 4 months old, After contacting Bob Wood in the Service department he asked the right questions about any additional warranty and the Azera was 3years 4 months old, I had taken out at purchase additional coverage. Bob Checked on this and it was agreed that I only had to pay $100, the total bill was $1414.0 Very obliging and could not do enough for the customer, so see Bob Wood for continued satisfaction with your Hyundai, you will not be disapointed. I booked an appointment within 24 hours of calling Gettel Hyundai of Sarasota. The experience was no different than the other 3 appointments I have had with them over the last two winters; competent, courteous and a general sense that my time was valuable. This is the only dealership I have encountered that seems to truly care about my issues and gets them sorted out quickly. One special note: my service adviser (Tonya) was prompt, helpful, knowledgeable and keen to get me in and out of there as soon as reasonably possible. She was also funny and very personable. I hope I have her as my adviser again for my next visit in April. More
