My first repair two months ago was a good experience. The one today was so very disappointing. The appointment was made a week ago and I was told I could wait for a diagnosis when I brought the car in. The one today was so very disappointing. The appointment was made a week ago and I was told I could wait for a diagnosis when I brought the car in. Since we only have one car, I was pleased with this. However, when I arrived today, I was told that it would take several days just for the diagnosis and more for parts to be ordered…and I had to leave the car there. This was not a workable solution for me. I’m looking for another repair shop. More

Shaylee Marek is reason for your success. She is professional, personable and extremely capable. The service itself is less so. You do not have enough workers to handle problems and when th She is professional, personable and extremely capable. The service itself is less so. You do not have enough workers to handle problems and when the car has to remain with Gettel for 3-5 days before it can even be diagnosed is unacceptable. Add to that you will not pay for a rental car until the car is diagnosed and can be worked in. This is a problem because when you have an issue where a notice comes on that states “turn off engine”- a person does not feel comfortable driving. Thankfully, this a company car and my company immediately arranged for a rental. If this was my own car, I would have to rent a car myself - for a warranty issue- until such time as one of your diagnosticians was freed up to determine the issue and attempt to correct it. I was told twice that the issue was remedied and yet I had to bring it in again - same issue! Shaylee kept me up to date by calling me, apologizing for the continued issues on behalf of Gettel because, of course, it was not her fault! Her calm demeanor and thoughtful comments are very important when the service was lacking. She should get a raise because I’m sure that, whatever you are paying her, does not accurately represent her value to Gettel. Benjamin also was helpful when I most recently brought in the car as the rear light, drivers side, was not working. He brought out a repair worker to look at the issue while I was there and to confirm his belief that that the whole light box would need to be replaced. The box was ordered and when I came back on the appointed day, it was replace within 2 hours. This was an all around good experience and once again the face of Gettel, with Benjamin, was well represented. More
