Please accept my apology if Ben did not thoroughly explain the findings provided when he ran the code diagnostics yesterday. The code showed that the check engine light concern is not related to the recall performed. With over 100,000 miles on your vehicle, Hyundai will only allow for loaner vehicle coverage if the concern is warranty related or if an extended warranty was purchased for the vehicle. If you decide to return, we do have access to rental cars on site. We know you have many choices and we do suggest having the next step, the comprehensive diagnostics, performed by Hyundai Certified technicians. They have access to the correct and specialized tools and parts to repair your vehicle. We wish you the best and will be here to serve you if you choose.
