The quality of work at the service repair shop was very poor to the point of being intentional. I brought my recently purchased Honda CRV in because the brakes were smoking and squealing. They claimed to f poor to the point of being intentional. I brought my recently purchased Honda CRV in because the brakes were smoking and squealing. They claimed to find nothing wrong and charged me 50 dollars for the labor. After persistent problems I brought it to another mechanic who said the brake pads were totally shot and the calipers were locking up. How could this be missed in the standard check after my concern directly points to the brakes? The sales manager eventually refunded me for the repair cost after multiple visits to the dealership and threatening to involve lawyers. I had just bought this car with the car fax stating new brakes had been put on within the last month. Overall it was a very shady experience and I definitely picked up that they were not prioritizing ethical business by any means More
Car was dropped off on a Saturday for 2 recalls After we signed paperwork she told us they had No headlights … car would be ready Monday and she would call us …. My car was held for 4 days due to assigned rep not keeping process going forward when he had an off day the day after I dropped my car off. The parts were available/in stock so there was no reason to be without my car and having to Uber to appointments while waiting for the work to be completed. This type of unprofessional behavior is why private mechanics are sought out instead of using a dealership. More

All and all my experience has been good. Once I was sold tires that only lasted three years and I drive approx 5000 miles a year. I ordered tires again and when I arrived for my appointment 3 weeks later, I was told the tires were not ordered. I ordered better tires at a better price with a better warranty at Tire Kingdom. The Tire Kingdom tech found my wheel lock in my wheel cover where the Gettel tech had left it. More
Took a minimum of 2 days to get a call back from Melanie every time I called. I felt like I was not a priority and when I decided not to purchase the part I needed due to price, I was dismissed to anoth every time I called. After picking up my car the first time, the problem still persisted with a check engine light 10 minutes after leaving the dealership and broke down on the highway. I was told the original issue I brought the car in for was the main source of the problem when I brought it back and it was never addressed the first visit. This cost me 3 weeks without a vehicle and $900 dollars to fix something that wasn’t the issue. I am a completely unsatisfied customer and will never return to Gettle Hyuandai of Sarasota. More
