I've been going to Gettel for a few years, never had any reason to distrust the service dept, that is, until now. while waiting for my oil change to be done, the rep came in to tell me my brake fluid was "v reason to distrust the service dept, that is, until now. while waiting for my oil change to be done, the rep came in to tell me my brake fluid was "very bad, dark brown" needed immediate at- tention;I'd had my car serviced back in April (not @ Gettel). I couldn't recall what I'd had done but it was lot so I declined his offer to replace the fluid, got the car, checked my papers, and sure enough, I'd had the brake fluid changed in April, this is now early Jan. but I'm no mechanic so I took the car to the place I'd gone to orignally; I explained what I'd been told, the tech took a sample of the fluid, it was a teeny bit pinkish, not even close to "dark brown" but because the change was under warranty, they changed it for me again anyway; so now, the end result? I no longer have any faith in the service dept,will take my business elsewhere; I believe they were willing to lose a customer to make a few paltry bucks, not good and it didn't work so, I leave it up to you to decide p.s. I was with the tech when he took the sample and compared it to the chart so no funy stuff went on. More
Went to the service department for a 10:45am appointment. I was there just for a oil change. So I waiting in the lobby, at 12:30pm I went to check on my car and it had not even been taken in to get started. I was already there a hour and a half. Finally at 1:30pm I was done. No apology, once again no acknowledement that the service was horrible or sorry you had to wait, nothing. It should Not have taken well over 2 hours for a oil change, that is unexpectable. Needless to say, I left there infuriated and will never recommed this dealership. I have never had such poor sorry service. What a Huge disppointment this was. I bought my car here but will never return for any type of service let alone upgrading my car. And will be sure to sprend the news to many people.. More

I didn't even MAKE it to the dealership. I received such lousy service over the phone I didn't even bother. Especially when the salesperson Scott that I had requested return my phone call. (I was assuming he would call me back the same day...silly me!) was "very busy" and "by the time he calls me back, I'll already be there for my appointment. But, I'll give him the message to call you." as said by Patricia. Scott DID end up calling me back, late the next evening approximately 24 hours later and was asking for "rick" to call him back. Who is RICK??!! HELLO!!!! Funny thing.....all the other dealerships I contacted, they had a salesperson call me right back. I wouldn't recommend this dealership for the simple fact that if they can't even get it right on the first telephone experience, why would I want to go there in person? More

When we left he asked for the sale and told us they would with us. I spoke with Mike the next day, and told him I decided on a model not on the lot. Mike located the car for me, and worked with me on the price. The car was available that very day. Taking delivery was exceptionally smooth. Lars handled the paperwork quickly and painlessly. Dave explained all the features of the car, and is continuing to help me on scheduling the Zylon coating application. I am extremely happy with and impressed by Gettel's service and highly recommend them. More
I was very impressed with Chris at Gettel Automotive. He was straight forward when asked specific questions and didn't radiate "sleezy" like so many car salesmen do. I wound up at Gettel because the dealer closer to me in Bradenton had an intimidating climate and was much more interested in selling me anything, rather than what was best for me. Chris didn't do that. He understood what I wanted and worked to get me into the car. Also, he stayed late and took care of us during hours that were convenient.
