LIKE The CAR, disappointed in the DEALERSHIP I have not given a five star review because after I bought I saw on TV that another Honda dealership said no payments for 90 days. Plus I think the three-year 36,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty is too small so they can sell you an extended warranty with a “price you’ll never get again “. My sales person Erik Lawhon was very knowledgeable and a nice guy and personally deserves five stars! He got the phone number for me to keep in my car to call Roadside Assistance . It is the dealership management decisions that in reflection I give a one star for existing (!) and the popcorn, coffee, water and TV! I feel they did not give me a good enough trade for my luxury 4 year old ACURA (also in Honda Family only costs more for luxuries with only 47,500 miles on it. After the sale. I am bringing in brand new floor mats still in the plastic. I used the rubber mats . I also don’t like the add-ons by the dealer —again a management decision for stuff I don’t want or need. I did not need the cargo rubber covering or the mud guards, but I had to pay for them. The way the managers process, created doubt in me - like how they could possibly have done the interior and exterior protection that was an add-on when the car arrived just the day before and I did not smell even the “new car smell”. Suspicion I DID NOT LIKE HAVING. Their attitude was “they covered any stains” because of the ADD-ON Appearance Package” I otherwise. would not have bought . It was perfectly clear in the long run that they were out for themselves, predominately , not really caring for the customer. That shows LACK. OF RESPECT TO THE BUYER by way of dealership policy ie. Leadership that the salesforce MUST follow. But that awareness comes after deciding to buy and being there for hours and you’re in the paperwork stage. They made no mention of how to call Roadside Assistance, a term of the three-year warranty.and it is of so little emphasis that my sales person didn’t know if they issued a carrying card! I would think this would be a good selling point. Compared to my previous experience buying my trade-in Acura in Charleston, there was no welcoming hospitality from the sales managers or the dealership manager. THE SERVICE AGENT WAS MOST WELCOMING, as was JK, THE NICE AND GOOD AND BELIEVABLE FINISHING FINANCE MAN. I agree with all the negative reviews on YELP's DealerRater site online for Gerry Wood Honda in Salisbury, NC 28144 which I read AFTER I wrote my review to see if I was the only one with my opinions! There were lots of them! There is a missing caliber of POSITIVITY IN THEIR LEADERSHIP and a feeling of their GREED DOMINATED THE BEHAVIOR.from the sales managers. Coffee, popcorn and TV is not enough hospitality. I’m sorry to tell all this, but Gerry Wood Honda asked and on the second request I went ahead to tell my mostly ugly opinion/feeling. Erik Lawhon in Sales, JK Johnson in Finance, and Jade Kendrick in Service were an asset to the dealership in doing their jobs well as far as I saw. More

First of all, the car is wonderful and secondly, the salesperson, Erik Lawhon, was terrific. We were pleased with his professionalism…straightforward, easy-going, genuine, friendly, calm, helpful, and clean-cut. We had visited other dealerships and just stopped in for a test drive; by the end of the day, the car was ours. The day after our purchase, Erik called to let us know that he continues to be helpful as we familiarize our new car. We sincerely appreciate the way he conducts business and highly recommend Erik Lawhon. More
