Jan. 16, 2012,I went to Gerry Lane Cadillac, to purchase a Cadillac Coupe. Mr. jackson manager talked me against buying the coupe, says I have grandchildren and they wouldn't fit comfortable in the back, an a Cadillac Coupe. I wanted to do business with Gerry Lane and this was going to be my second Cadillac, the first was purchased in New Orleans, La., so I decided to shop locally in Baton Rouge,La. My decided to purchase an SRX Crossover, Mr. Jack Jackson did a dealer's trade from Fla. when the vehicle arrived I decided I wanted Crome Wheels instead of Aluminum wheels and Fog Lamps along with a spare tire. On Fri.Jan 20,2012 I went back to speak to Mr. Jack Jackson about additional accessories Chrome wheels, for lamps and of course a spare tire. He told me that he would get me a spare tire for my vehicle, we also discussed the type of chrome wheels I wanted for the car. On Mon Jan 24, when the vehicle was delivered to my residence I notice the spare tire wasn't included in the vehicle, called Mr. Jackson to informed him about this matter, he told me that he could not find a spare to fit my vehicle, but he could sell me one for $450.00. I reminded his that he told me that he would get me a tire for my vehicle. I called Gerry Lane, to speak to another manager, Mr. Jack Jackson calls me back in a very unprofessional manner and tells me the nerves of me going over his head speaking to another manager after all he's done for me., He said that hes has bent over backwards and jumped hurlers to help me, and this is what I do, and Mr. Jack Jackson Hung the phone up on me. I called Gerry Lane Chevy dealership to speak to Mr. Gerry Lane Himself, and he has never returned my phone call. Mr.Jackson said that mr. Lane told him to handled it and he hung the phone up again on me. I called my attorney and he advised me to return the vehicle back to Mr. Jackson on Tues.am. Jan 25,2012. I did. I asked Mr. Jackson what was the reason he would not want me to return the vehicle, he said 1. he had alread sold my trade (2004) CTS Cadillac, 2. he didn"t want a 2011.On Sun. Jan 29,2012 My 2004 CTS Cadillac was seen on Gerry Lane Used Car Lot on Rieger Rd. Mr. Jackson lied again my vehicle had not been SOLD. My attorney mailed a certified letter and fax copy to Gerry Lane and Mr.Jackson to resolve this matter. No response. Jan 31,2012 Mr, Joseph Barthephew called and said to come and pick up my car and to pick up the keys from Jack Jackson. Upon my arrival to get my keys me Jackson told me before he could release my vehicle that there was a Reconditioning fee. I told him he should have told me that ther was a fee when he called to pick up the vehicle. He told me that I could come back tomorrow when I have the money. I notified my attorney and he and Jackson spoke on the phone Mr, Jackson was very rude and impolite to all parties involved. I paid $1.282.44 to Gerry Lane Cadillac for 3 tires, detailing and front marking bulbs, mount and balance three tires for a vehicle that Mr. Jackson said was already sold. Mr. Joseph Barthemew was very inpolite when he entered manangers offic with his head up and didn't speak to me, like he was angry. In conclusion , This was the most terrifing experience that I've ever encountered with the purchase of a vehicle, I was victimized from the beginning, the purchase of the vehicle was overpriced, Manager's attitude was horrible and rude, unprofessional, arrogant, he said I could't go over his head as though he was the man in charge. Is the type of mananger Mr. Lane has running his company? I'll never purchase another Cadillac or any other vehicle from any of his dealerships. More

SALES DEPT IS FILLED WITH JERKS AND MANAGER (JACK JACKSON) IS WORSE THAN THEM. Went in for a simple maintenance issue and Shelia, in Service, was really rude. Went in to Manager to complain and found out he was an UBER JERK!! I washed my vehicle before I drove over there and when I complained about their attitudes I went to get my vehicle and the two front tires had been slashed on the sides. Not enough to give me a flat but enough that I'll have to get new tires. I can't PROVE they did it but I know it wasn't done before I went there. I HAD JUST WASHED IT!! These are some BAD PEOPLE!! Called CADILLAC in Detroit and they recommended I drive to SUPREME CHEV CADILLAC in Plaquemine and the service was unbelievably friendly. GEEZ! I still feel like I've been assaulted by those xxxxx at GERRY LANE!! Found out Jack Jackson use to play pro football for Chicago so that explains his overly cocky attitude. Come down to the real world dude...you aren't in the big league now and having MANNERS goes a long way in the ordinary world!! More
