Service Took my 2007 CTS in April 2016, due to Stability System/Brake Assist light was on. After diagnosis was told need to replace hub bearing cost $700+ and Took my 2007 CTS in April 2016, due to Stability System/Brake Assist light was on. After diagnosis was told need to replace hub bearing cost $700+ and the tech recommended I replace starter because it probably would go out soon another $600+ total after taxes over $1500. They keep my car for 3 days. The second day after getting car back from having it serviced the Stability System/Brake Assist light came back on, called Gerry Lane service talked to (Walt) my service advisor told him light was back on, he told to bring car back in when I could leave it. They kept my car 3 days to tell me could not find why light came back on, and charged me another $200. I waited about 2 weeks called Walt again, asked why is car having same problem that was supposed to been repaired, he told me to bring car in again and leave it so the tech could do diagnosis again to find the problem. I ask if they was going to charge me for the diagnosis again because I already paid twice and I'm still having same problem as to why I brought car in for service the first time. I dropped off car, told them I work and needed my car back in 2 days, later that day Walt called me to pick up loaner vehicle. This time they did provide me with a loaner, but the previous service visits, I had to rent a car or was without a car. Walt call me on day 2 to tell me, they know what the problem is the "Stability System" need to be replaced cost over $2000, haven't I been stating that from the beginning. Why couldn't they figure that out when I brought car to them the first time, when I paid them $1500 to repair something on my car that obviously was broken. They are the professional, I repaired what they recommended and they was wrong, so why couldn't they adjust price at least $700 amount paid for hub bearing. They didn't offer to offset the cost or to make any adjustments. More
Best Car Buying Experience Ever I came into Gerry Lane Cadillac just to look around & get a general idea of what I was facing to trade my car in & purchase a Cadillac. The salesman w I came into Gerry Lane Cadillac just to look around & get a general idea of what I was facing to trade my car in & purchase a Cadillac. The salesman was very nice & polite. I didn't get that feeling of being forced to purchase a car. I mean after all I really didn't come in to buy, just to look & see what I was up against because of my credit situation. After a couple of test drives I fell in love with the XTS. I finally reluctantly let them run a credit application & found out my credit score was better than I thought. With absolutely no pressure I ended up trading in my car & purchasing a 2014 XTS. I really love this car. The entire staff was very friendly & so helpful. I would highly recommend them to anyone in the market to purchase a car. It was an awesome experience! More
