one of my best experiences at a dealership went out to Hatfield Volkswagen to purchase a new car for my wife I was greeted by Jim hedges one of the nicest and down to earth salesmen I have ever went out to Hatfield Volkswagen to purchase a new car for my wife I was greeted by Jim hedges one of the nicest and down to earth salesmen I have ever met he doesn't force you into something you don't like he helps you get what you want I would definitely recommend this salesmen to anybody looking for a new or used car really nice environment a bunch of good group of people to work withI will also like to say thanks More
Just new tires "JUST TIRES" how could that go wrong! VW had a tire sale and although I have never purchased new tires at a dealership before, what could go wrong. Well how about when you go to pick up VW had a tire sale and although I have never purchased new tires at a dealership before, what could go wrong. Well how about when you go to pick up the car you look and go, those are not new tires! O yea they had great tread on them but they where not new! They were a dark grey color (uv washed out ) very dirty and the nubs found on new tires were worn off. Also on the front two there was as slight wear pattern in the outside tread. Asked for service manager to come look at the tires and he just keep saying that they are new because they don't sell used tires. He was so sure of himself he took me to the parts area to show me they only had new tires. I said yes they are new tires look at them, they are ALL dark black with new sticky rubber treads, and ALL had the casting nubs sticking out and release agent. He refused to touch the any of the rack of new tires to see my point or compare these tires with those they put on my wife's pampered Jetta. I was pulling my hair out. How could I be having this fight over just buying new tires!!!! I have purchased new tires dozens of times (I'm a 57 year old car nut) and never once even thought of having a problem. After much fit throwing he said he would order new tires and replace them but it would have to be the next day. WELL the next day I call and am told the car is not done because the 2 tires they have ordered as a COURTESY for me are not in. "TWO tires" as a "COURTESY" are you kidding me. This blew the lid of....I ask to have my old tires put back on. This so called service manager tried to tell me they disable the tires after they remove them. "DISABLE" do you think I'm an idiot! Just put my tires back on my car. Well low and behold they did have my tires and can you believe it they are not disabled. PLEASE do yourself a favor and do not use STEALERSHIPS for anything!!!! TIRES INCLUDED! More
My first time purchasing a certified used car Nothing but great stuff from Hatfield VW! I drove up on a Saturday morning to test drive a certified used 2012 GTI. My sales associate, Kevin, was a Nothing but great stuff from Hatfield VW! I drove up on a Saturday morning to test drive a certified used 2012 GTI. My sales associate, Kevin, was able to tell me things about the car that I would have never thought about asking. After I decided to purchase the car, everything was a very smooth and as a final polish, they called in a driver to follow me back to my house so that I could take delivery that day, instead of waiting until Monday, when the drivers normally available at the dealership. I purchased the additional 6 year, 60,000 mile warranty, so I'll be in good shape for a while, but at the point I'm ready to get a different car, I'd very strongly consider purchasing a new GTI from Hatfield. What a enjoyable and trouble-free experience! :) More
My 2 yrs experience with Hatfield I bought two cars in 2012. One was new civic from Lindsay Honda which was the worst car buying experience for me. The other one was used VW Jetta fr I bought two cars in 2012. One was new civic from Lindsay Honda which was the worst car buying experience for me. The other one was used VW Jetta from here and I must say Hatfield representatives are super friendly and transparent about car dealing. Recently I took my car there for minor repairs. They did through check at free of cost. I got great discount on my repairs as returning customer. More

NOT HAPPY. Took car in for an oil change and fuel filter change, get my AC recharged and have the cabin air filter changed and see what the "rattling noise" was with the fan...general check up. Went to work on a wednesday morning, used shuttle service. That afternoon, was informed by dealer that "rear brakes are shot and must be completely replaced"....at a cost of $2700. Told me that even if rotors and calipers are not "ruined", they must be replaced by "VW policy", only with VW parts. The parts were not available and had to be ordered, but car was unsafe to drive. Was told they didn't have any loaner cars and I would be without a car till the parts were in on monday. Eventually, dealership found a "loaner car", but it is now tuesday late afternoon 9-24-2013. Not a word yet on when my car will be done. Was told it would be done on monday. I was unfairly gouged on price, kept in the dark on completion, lied to about some xx replacement policy. I am really dissapointed in the unfair, greedy, unethical treatment I got. My future business will not be with this dealer. Love the fuel economy of the diesel jetta, BUT your people in this dealership SUCK. ...and the $2700 did NOT include front brakes, nor did it even fix the original problems I took the car in for! To add insult to injury.....they lost my plastic center hub caps and I had to purchase new ones for $30+ each.... They don't read written instructions that were reviewed in person at the dealer....VERY unhappy. I took this to VW corporate, where it was assigned to a "Region Case Manager".....for an "investigation"....lip service, thats all it was.....a chance for their drinking buddies to get together. Now.....my fan has stopped working and it is ZERO outside. The same fan that I asked them to fix, back in September......I can't believe that my car with 55K miles and is 2 years and 8 months old, is falling apart like this. I will not buy another VW nor will I do business with HATFIELD autogroup again. I now understand why VW has not increased their sales in the months of the "recovery"....crappy product and worse service. More

I had a great experience purchasing a 2014 GTI from Hatfield recently. They had a great selection and their staff from top to bottom was outstanding. My salesman was Brad Kamphaus and he did a great Hatfield recently. They had a great selection and their staff from top to bottom was outstanding. My salesman was Brad Kamphaus and he did a great job in describing every aspect of this deal, along with answering any and all questions that I had. Nick Poppel was another gentleman who was there to answer many of my questions, especially anything regarding the service and maintenance the car would need. I appreciated their patience and knowledge throughout the entire process and would recommend anyone who is interested in a Volkswagon to purchase from Hatfield. More
