I was returning from Atlanta to Erie, PA when the low adblu fluid warning came on just north of Cincinnati. I called my dealer who recommended stopping at an auto parts store for the fluid. Not knowing the location of any stores off the interstate, I decided to call 411 for a VW dealer in Columbus and got ahold of your service department. They gave me directions to your dealership and got me taken care of right away. Thank you. Jim Flynn - Erie, PA PS: I am on a water pill and needed to use a restroom, but I couldn't stop at a rest area because the adblu warning stated I would not be able to restart the car until the fluid was replaced so I had two emergencies which your dealership handled for me. :-) More

Adam approached me when I entered the dealership and without pressuring me at at asked how he could help me. Even though I identified I was from out of town and just looking he spent a lot off time wit without pressuring me at at asked how he could help me. Even though I identified I was from out of town and just looking he spent a lot off time with me showing all the features of the GLI. I was very interested in the car so Adam offered to have my car appraised. Once that process was completed the offer was above what I expected. So we proceeded in price negotiations. I identified a competitor's price on the same car and in moments we finalized a deal. I could not pass it up. My time was limited due to an appointment so Adam made sure the car was detailed and ready so I was on time. My overall experience at Hatfield was very positive. Adam from sales and Trevor in finance were personable and professional. I have no reservations about recommending Hatfield VW and I would not hesitate to return for my next car. I went to Hatfield to purchase a "new" VW GTI. The sale of the car went well and I was overly thrilled to be driving the car home the same day. That is, until the check engine light came on. I figured it was just a fluke since the engine was so new. I took the car to my local dealer the next day to get looked over. To make a long story short, they found significant damage to the underside of the front bumper. This should have been seen when they "inspected" the car upon recieving it. This tells me that they did not perform any checks on the car before they sold it. Meanwhile, I called the called the dealership figuring the damage would be fixed since i spent $28k to get a "new" car. They promised me over and over they would fix it and that they would "personally make it right." This gave me security until i recieved a call saying "claim it on your insurance." What??!!??! I just got the car which I believed to be in "new" condition and not they want me to put probably $3000 on my insurance. This is horrible customer support and I will never buy a car from them again. BUYERS BEWARE: THEY MAKE YOU SIGN A PAPER SAYING YOU WILL NOT SUE THE DEALERSHIP. Everyone thya I talk to say they have never heard of this before. I have nothing good to say about this dealership and I want to make their actions known to all!! They do not inspect cars before selling them, and they do not own up to their own faults! HORRIBLE DEALERSHIP AND EVEN WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! More
I went there this past weekend looking for a new car fell in love with the jetta. I did not feel like I have a target on my back when you are mobbed by 5 or 6 car salesman at other dealers. I first came in to Hatfield to look at the New VW Jetta. Not only was I amazed at the value of the Jetta for the money, but Hatfield had a great selection to chose from. They had a low discount price already listed in the car so I didn't have to haggle, which I hate! The guys made the process so easy and fun. When I went in to sign the papers, I was a little nervous but needn't have worried. He explained my options in a friendly and professional manner and there was no pressure to buy a bunch of stuff I didn't want. I drove home less than two hours after I first got there in a brand new Jetta. Two weeks later I brought my new Jetta in for it's first oil change since I travel for business full time. The service department is clean and it's HUGE! I was in and out in less than 30 minutes and the price was great. I have been so impressed with my experience there at Hatfield that I wanted to find a place where I could tell people about my experience. So often I have had bad experiences with car dealers. Hatfield seems to have a modern no pressure formula that makes the customer first. I am never going anywhere else! More

THEY DO NOT MAKE THE CUSTOMER AWARE OF THE WARRANTY-COVERED PROBLEMS.) I HAD MY CAR INTO THIER SERVICE DEPARTMENT. SOME OF THE SERVICE PEOPLE ARE RUDE AND DO NOT SEEM INTERESTED IN HELPING YOU OUT. They have no interest in servicing vehicles, even those under warranty that were purchased through their dealership. I would never recommend them to anyone. I am taking my VW to another dealers (Byers) w under warranty that were purchased through their dealership. I would never recommend them to anyone. I am taking my VW to another dealers (Byers) who had no problem servicing my vehicle or providing the customer service one would expect from a dealer, even though I didn't buy my car from them.
