I took my 2010 Tundra in to have the cam towers resealed under service contract, which should’ve been a 14h job. They had the truck for three weeks. No one, and I mean not one single person, EVER called me under service contract, which should’ve been a 14h job. They had the truck for three weeks. No one, and I mean not one single person, EVER called me about the truck. I had to call them, and getting through or getting someone to return my call was next to impossible. A person named Aaron was particularly unprofessional. After not hearing from or being able to get in touch with Germain for four (4) days, Aaron finally answered and told me he didn’t want to be there and neither did anyone else (due to the pandemic shutdown), that they had laid off a bunch of people and were extremely short staffed, and they were sick of me calling “every 15 minutes “ (when I hadn’t heard from them in 4 days) and he told me they’d call me when they got around to it—then he hung up on me. They finally got the truck reassembled but it was “making noise” so they went ahead and drove it. Genius. Next thing I know they’re ripping it apart again, and replacing cam gears. But they wouldn’t give me much more info. Then, they somehow destroyed the AC condenser, and it and many A/C lines had to be replaced. How this happened no one would tell me. So after three weeks I got my truck, and was given no rental, no explanation, and no apology, and I got home and found several bolts laying next to the wiper blade base. Several things hadn’t been connected including a ground wire on the head. I finally found them all and got them hooked back up. Moreover, I had to replace about a dozen fasteners that hold on the plastic pieces in the wheel wells as well as the ones holding on the flaps in the wheel wells that cover things like the alternator. the flaps had been ripped up, and they cost several hundred dollars to replace, so I poked new holes in them with a punch and repositioned them for now. Germain knew I use this vehicle for work and a lot of towing, including my RV, and they reassured me they took so long and kept it so long to make absolutely certain there were no problems. well guess what: On startup if now ticks in a way that suspiciously sounds like a loose or stretched timing chain, which is exactly where they were tinkering about. It never ever ticked before. I’ve also noticed a marked decrease in mpg, from a 14.4 average over 100,000 miles to a new average of 11.8mpg. Somethin’ ain’t right. As you can imagine I’m very hesitant to take it back to Germain now, as I don’t trust they’ll fix it, or that because they think I’m so problematic they’ll tamper with the truck. But they need to fix this. My warranty company should not have to pay the price for Germain’s negligence. I hear all kinds of good things about what a great guy Mr Germain is and how he is so successful because he does right by his customers. I hope this somehow reaches his desk. I’m extremely disappointed with this dealership and the technical work done and the horribly unprofessional customer service I received for three very long weeks without my work truck I use to take care of our community’s pets. My Prius was in your shop for a week for the hazard lights that wouldn’t turn off! Your service was short and rude.After waiting for approximately two hours.Therisa said the switch was bad at cost of lights that wouldn’t turn off! She told me It didn’t foxy. fix the problem She said the wiring. was bad and they had to remove the dash at labor cost minimum of 620$ as they to trace miles of wiring to check.Therisa said. the service would call when. H. they found the Problem and how to fix it Billy call on Friday. said they found a bad module at cost of 1200.$and with labor the total would be 2500.$ I asked why so much Much he had lots of labor hrs. I asked if the switch was bad. he said yes. That total didn’t. include 387.$ I already paid for the “bad” Switch.So what. thought was a simple problem. cost almost 3000.$ Billy it Should be ready Monday. I hadn’t heard from anyone by Tuesday so I. Called Therisa and she said it. was ready. I paid and looked. at my invoice and no where did show they replaced the module.or switch! I noticed the mileage didn’t match the. Mileage out on the odometer My car had been driven almost 20 miles by someone in your service department.I think Germaine has taken advantage of Me and way over charged me. Me. I left a message for.
