Lies, they one thing they know how to do I have done business with many dealerships in the years including one previous here at Germain. What sets this transaction apart is it was built on lies. I will start by saying I am credit challenged. I walked in after doing an online inquiry about a vehicle and met with Linda. Linda was pleasant to work with and put everything together and it was at a price I as shocked and jumped on, but then when it came down it a mistake was made and new numbers had to be ran because they priced the wrong car. Mistakes happen and I understood. I was trading in my 2019 Subaru which was paid for. I was promised by Linda that it would not be sold until the loan was finalized and funded, that is the policy I was told, so i was comfortable going into it knowing if there was an issue I would get my Subaru back. I then went to the finance office and met with Tom and Tom again assured me that 1. The financing was going to go through, no issues but if there was an issue, my Subaru would be there waiting. I sign the paperwork including a limited right to cancel and then the next day get a call that I needed to sign new paperwork because the bank would not fund the loan but another would and the term were slightly better. I go in, sign the paperwork and go on with my life. I checked and saw the Subaru was online and for sale and was shocked because I was told it would not be until everything was funded on the loan. Fast forward to day 19, today. The Subaru has been sold and my last contact with the bank was they were not gonna be able to fund the loan. Now I am in a bind, if this car is not financed I have to give it back and they sold my trade after being promised they would not. The only reason for 2 stars instead of 1 is because Linda has been open and even responding to text well past working hours. More
