I went into work on that Monday 1/27/2014 and was telling my co-worker about my weekend. She told me to call Mr. Marlin Black at the dealership on Scarborough Boulevard of Germain Toyota of Columbus I was unsure at first because I had not had a car payment in awhile but it was going be a cold night that coming week. I called and told Mr. Black my problem and my car issues. He took my information and about 20mins later called me back and told me I was approved and not only was I approved but also worked my down payment out to where I didnt have to put in money down because at that time didnt have any money. He was wonderful, professional and had wealth of knowledge. He ask me how I was going to get up there to pick up the car, I couldnt I didnt have a way. He offered to come and get me. Mr. Black picked me up from house after work and took me to the dealership by 5:30pm. By 8pm I was in my car, he stayed over 3hrs just make sure I was ok and was in my car. I am very, very pleased with this man and his work. I have never been treated like this at any dealership EVER!!!!!!!! Hence the reason I never had a car payment....I will always get my cars from Germain Toyota of Columbus. I have made a family outside of my family, he really took care of me like I was part of his family. He is my HERO!!!! Thank you Mr. Black and thank you Germain Toyota of Columbus. Wow! My experience was absolutely amazing. You know that old cliche about a woman will get ran over the coals if she goes to buy a car. Let me tell you that was not the case at Germain Toyota of Columbus. I am a single mother of one child so my budget is tight- really tight! During all this snow that we have had in Columbus, Ralph met my daughter(5yr old) and I at my car. He was kind, compassionate, a good christian and a great listener to my needs and wants for a new vehicle. I had a particular car in mind and was very excited that Germain had the vehicle. Unfortunately, there were some issues with the title on my car so it was delayed. So I had to leave sad with no new car. 6 days later, Ralph called and told me he had some great news and that he did. They had found a bank that would finance me without trading in my vehicle- long story short it was amazing because I had just received my title in the mail that morning. Well, the car that I thought I wanted was sold. - Sometimes things happen for a reason- that car was not meant to be. So Ralph and I went back to the drawing board. He took the time with my energetic daughter (patience) and me to get right vehicle for us. We were there for a few hours picking out cars, test driving, researching and dealing with my energetic little girl. As a parent I am sure you know children don't like to sit and wait..lol The staff at Germain Toyota of Columbus were very happy to help with her too.They gave her balloons and treats and made sure she was taken care of very well- they didn't have to do that. Ralph found the perfect vehicle for us. I am happily driving a Toyota Avalon that will be our vehicle for the next several years. I want to recommend Germain Toyota of Columbus to anyone that is looking for a new vehicle. They make you feel important and at home. The Business Manager - Brandon Dille was also great. Professional and friendly.
