RETRACTION:CONSUMER COMPLAINT: Lexus Of Easton On May the 29th with my BFFL in with me, I decided that I wanted to see about getting into another car that was better in the winter months for me and cheaper on the payment. I decided to go to Lexus of Easton to look around. I had an appointment to meet with one salesman, but he apparently was already with someone so he put me with a different salesman. While Im looking around nothing really catches my eye except for this 2008 LS 460. It was a one owner car bought and sold there. Also all the service records were there too. It has really low miles. So I took it for a test drive with the BFFL in the back seat. The car has everything and rides beautifully. I talk to the salesman about the Bluetooth and he says yes it has it. Phonebook, voice recognition, and music streaming. (My 2011 Lexus IS250c has it also and it is the best feature ever. ) Mind you this was all heard from the backseat as well. We go back to the dealership to talk price. We go back and forth and while I am sitting there the salesman proceeds to tell me that my car registered a #7 for smoke and that I would be charged $4k if I waited to turn it in. He repeatedly says this to me. Then places the paper and pen in front of me to sign. I do! They go get the car ready for me and then get me to delivery. In delivery their IT guys comes out and shows me the features. He goes to pair my phone up with the Bluetooth in the car it works. Then he goes to transfer my contacts, it's not working. Tries again and same thing. Then another IT guy comes and says it wont work on this model/year with my phone. Then I am informed it wont stream music either. WHAT???? I've already signed!! I get out of the car really angry. I say a few CHOICE words to the salesman and then the GM's son comes up. They say we will fix it. I took them for their word. On Monday I get a call from the salesman saying they will do the upgrade on the Navigation system. Im thinking this includes the Bluetooth too, they can fix it right? They make my appointment for Thursday. Im happy at this point thinking all will be good. Salesman asks me to give him perfects on the survey and go on Dealrater.com and write something. I did!! I should have waited! So I call them to tell them about my dissatisfaction. I was told to talk to the salesman. I called and left him a voicemail on Friday. He calls me back Saturday. He proceeds to tell me and I quote " be happy with the deal you received. It's a really good deal and you only have the one problem!" Tells me to go by one at the Audio store for $250.00, that he has one in his car! AND?? EXCUSE ME?? Is this your money going out monthly or mine? I tell him well I am not satisfied I want it fixed. There is no fix to the Bluetooth issue that doesn't include after market wires. This is NOT what I paid for what so ever! Who talks to a customer like that for one?!! I called the GM and he told me to come in and look a new cars. So I did! I meet again with the same salesman. Who is waiting on me and another customer at the same time. By this time its getting around 5 on Saturday to which I am informed by the salesman and I quote " the banks are closing Travis! We need to get this right this time, because I don't want you coming back in a week telling me that you don't like the car!" OH xxxx NO YOU DIDN'T JUST TELL ME THAT!! I followed him back in, asked for my keys to the car. He comes back but with a paper that has a price on it that say $817.00 a month!! Ummmmm NO! I got my keys and left. On Sunday I get up and for the first time wash my car myself. I got to dry it off and on the back drivers side bumper, behind the wheel I see where the car has been painted. The paint is bubbled up and is rough to the touch. The car clearly was damaged in this area and then spot painted horribly. Now anyone who knows Lexus Certified Pre-owned standards knows this is NOT acceptable. I meet that week with the Pre-Owned Sales Manager and show him. He said he doesn't know how they missed it, but said they would take care of it. Also said that they were looking into Bluetooth solutions for me. A couple days go by and I don't hear from them. Im really mad by this time. I take my car to another dealership and see if I can trade it in. That would be a BIG FAT NO!! Im told by this salesman that the car is worth $8k less than what I paid!! WHAT!!!!???? Its been like 16 days!!!! You can only imagine how I am feeling at this point! Hence me going to see my lawyers yesterday and filing the AG Complaint this morning. I feel like I was mislead in several different ways and have been treated horribly! This was not a good deal at all! I am hurt and this has caused me to be physically sick! Ive bought several cars in my 41 years and since 2010 3 Lexus's. I'm beside myself right now. My Father always told me, "son a man is only as good as his word." You are right dad, you are right!
