I first met Mark two months ago and ask him to find me a 2009 ES350, white, gray interior with low mileage. I bought a certified used Lexus from this dealership. The price was great and the salesman and test drive process was excellent. After browsing various dealerships within 200 miles of home I found the car wh price was great and the salesman and test drive process was excellent. After browsing various dealerships within 200 miles of home I found the car which fit my specifications at the right price. Everything went flawlessly until my trade-in offer. I knew the trade-in value from various sources and had even gotten a "guaranteed " offer from the Germain website. I knew my trade-in Lexus was in excellent condition so I expected to receive more than the trade-in value. I was shocked when I was told they would give $1000 less than the "guaranteed" value because it had a "dirty history" due a minor accident years before. I was skeptical of the validity of this information, but I decided to purchase the certified Lexus since I had driven nearly four hours to the dealership. I was told my vehicle would undoubtedly need to be sent out to be sold at auction, and therefore I was mildly surprised to see it listed on the Germain website at 40% higher than I received. I noticed it sold a couple of days later and since Germain has a no haggle policy, I can only assume it sold at the listed price. I felt rather taken-advantage of and this is one reason I can't recommend this dealership. I expected a Lexus dealership to be more honest in its dealings. The other reason I can't recommend Germain Lexus is that I was promised a replacement for a small broken piece that was noticed during the final vehicle inspection. After three calls and promises to get back with me I have given up on receiving the piece. More
