Never Delivered on their promise So I purchased a used 2011 VW GTI from salesman Daniel O’Neil. Everything went good during the sale and I love the vehicle. I paid sticker price for t So I purchased a used 2011 VW GTI from salesman Daniel O’Neil. Everything went good during the sale and I love the vehicle. I paid sticker price for the car & never tried to talk them down on the price cause I really liked the car. The only thing I asked for were a new set of black VW GTI carpeted floor mats. They’re like $95. No problem they said we’ll order them and let you know when they arrive. It took about a month, but they came in. I picked them up and noticed they didn’t have the GTI logo but were definitely VW mats. They were in bag and I was in a hurry. A couple days later I opened them to install them and they were the wrong color. They are grey and they should have been black. I would have lived with plain black ones, without the logo, but the grey ones look terrible. They simply do not match. The ones I was promised are VW OEM Black GIT ones trimmed in red. When I told them they were the wrong ones I was told they couldn’t return them. Then Daniel suggested that I go to a VW dealership and try to exchange them with no receipt. He says that they ordered them using my VIN number and that’s what they sent. Instead of trying to return them or ordering the correct ones they simply said there’s nothing else they can do for me. They never delivered on the promise of new mats. I know this may seem like a minor issue to most but I like to keep my vehicles clean and like new. I’m shocked that a dealership would ever send a customer to a competitor for any reason. I’m glad it was only $95 and nothing major as I’m sure I would be out of luck. I purchased my wife’s car from Lexus Of Easton, with no issues. And oddly enough they had no issues with getting me new mats for her car. If it were my business I would happily order the new ones to keep the customer coming back. A $95 broken promise will prevent me or anyone in my family from purchasing any vehicles from a Germain dealership. It’s probably the most unprofessional dealership that I’ve ever had to deal with. Unbelievable. More

So you will have to register the car yourself...wait in line etc. Other dealers will take better care of you. More

My daughter wanted leather seats and the salesman at Germain said they could have the seats covered. She was a single mother with four small sons, they couldn't ride in the front due to their age and weight. After the front seat began to be used she noticed a problem with the seatbelt light, she had it checked and it wasn't hooked up under the seat properly. She contacted Germain and they said it wasn't their problem as they had subcontracted they work out to another company. She took it in to that company and the tech admitted it was their fault but couldn't get it fixed. Germain was supposed to call her back 2 weeks ago as they were going to look into it. She paid Germain for the upgrade,she did not select the subcontractor. She now has a vehicle that no one can ride in the passenger seat. They took the money, it should be their problem, they should deal with the subcontractor not my daughter. More
