We submitted an Internet request for a price quote for a new Kia Sedona, and two hours later Craig responded with an email. A few other local Kia dealerships also responded, but none as quickly and none wit new Kia Sedona, and two hours later Craig responded with an email. I called Craig who had just gotten off of work, so I told him my wife and I would be in the next day to look at it. He asked which color we were interested in and fortunately had one in stock with the options we wanted. The next day we arrived and the van was ready for our test drive. We loved the way it drove and the features, and the price was better than any other brand, so we were sold. They gave us a fair value for our trade-in and treated us courteously. Craig is a genuinely nice, committed and professional salesperson whom we greatly enjoyed working with. Our 2 year-old grand daughter also enjoyed the deal he gave her - a free balloon that she's still playing with. And the finance department was able to procure a lower interest rate than the already low rate my credit union offered, so we financed the van through Hatfield and that night were able to pull into our driveway with a brand new Kia Sedona. Next month we are taking a family vacation to Walt Disney World which is why we purchased the van at this time. We can't wait to make the trip in our roomy, feature-rich new Sedona. Wow! What a great new car buying experience! Craig was SO helpful and friendly, he knws his stuff and is very efficient and quick. Overall it was a great experience and I will recommend Craig to ANYONE looking to buy a new car. As this being the first time buying my own car, it was not dreadful at all as most people say buying a car is. I am so very happy with the service I received this past weekend! We purchased a 2012 KIA Sedona EX, with optional features provided at an additional cost. We were actually sold a 2011 Sedona EX with 2011 options at a 2012 price. The actual options for a 2012 are different provided at an additional cost. We were actually sold a 2011 Sedona EX with 2011 options at a 2012 price. The actual options for a 2012 are different, specifically standard Bluetooth. Our vehicle manuals indicate options for a 2012, but none of the electronic options installed match our manual at all. We have also received pamphlets in the mail from KIA indicating how to use our Bluetooth, a standard option on all 2012 Sedona vans regardless of model. We were pressured to purchase the van the day we drove it by both Susan and her sales manager. The sales manager tried to “guilt us into buying at first, then switched to making us feel stupid for not being able to answer his questions to his satisfaction about why we were not buying that day. The prices of two vans we priced that day increased when we allowed them to factor in our trades. The fast talking and sales pressure prevented us from making the decision to purchase that first day as well as the second visit. Everyone we spoke to argued with us at least once during our process. I was finally sent an E-mail from Susan with a break down of vehicle prices with rebates, taxes, fees, trade-ins, and final price. It is provided below copied from the E-mail I received from Susan. Red Sedona EX grey leather interior with DVD 34,390.00 msrp 4,000.00 in rebates 2,190.00 our discount on the van 28,200.00 what we are willing to sell you the van for 3,500.00 trade in for van 10,800.00 trade in for sonata 10,080.00 payoff on sonata 1,225.13 taxes 250.00 doc fee 33.50 registration fee zero money down total out the door cost with trades is 25,488.63 payments are 449-459 for 72 months with approved credit We countered with an out the door price of $22,500 which had to be approved by Ryan Belcher, General Sales Manager for Hatfield Kia. He counter offered and we accepted a price at $23,600 with a stipulation that we obtain bank financing through them, his rational was that Hatfield would recoup some of the loss they incurred selling the 2012 Sedona at this price. We initally did not agree to his terms, but ended up taking his deal. During our closing the finance specialist offered to upsell us several insurance and optional service options at “his” price after quoting us initial inflated prices. We chose to purhcase the GAP insurance to protect our investment in case of total loss. This was added to our loan, increasing the monthly payment by and additional $5. We did get the price we were asking for, and we were treated far better a Hatfield KIA than at other dealerships in the area. We just wanted to share a few of our experiences and the fact that we were not sold a new 2011 Kia Sedona, not a 2012 KIA Sedona. We paid for a 2012 Sedona, but when we trade it in we are going to get trade in value for a 2011. If your sales staff offers you a Sedona without Bluetooth as a standard option, it is not a 2012 regardless of model, it is a 2011. More

I told him up front i had no trade and the discount I had negotiated elsewhere, and he responded within the hour saying they had accepted my offer. After work i drove to the dealership and about 4 to 5 hours from my initial call I was driving my new Optima off the lot. I can't say everyone's experience will be as quick and pain free as mine, but I can say Craig went well out of his way to keep the sale simple, straight forward and was very patient as I selected the color I wanted. Simply put this was the quickest and most stress free auto buying experience I have ever had. Thank you Hatfield and Craig. Rick More

I've recently purchased a used vehicle, that we love! We thought that seemed logical and proceeded with the sale. After driving an hour home, the smell continued... 3 days later still continued only getting worse and smoking from the pipes underneath the motor. We brought the vehicle back to servivce to have a wheel bearing replaced as was agreed upon purchase and to also have the oil problem fixed, whatever that may be. Our vehicle is still there after 3 days of only the wheel bearing being fixed and several lies about the other problem! We thought we were satisfied when we recieved a phone call stating the bearing was fixed and that the oil pan gasket needed replaced along with the thermostat. I called later on that day (5 hours later) was told that the technician was having a hard time getting the bearing reparied and should be done soon, and that they would call when I could come pick it up. He said nothing about t he 2 other issues my husband had been previously informed of. I of-course questioned this, as 5 hours ago my husband was told something different. The man I spoke to looked at the order while I was on the phone confirmed the other two orders and said those would be getting done as well. When my husband stopped by the service department after work he was handed the keys and said the bearing was replaced and that die had been put into motor to see if/where the leak was.... Again totally different from previous conversations! Bottom line is, we KNOW there is a leak, you can see it you can smell it! We live an hour away from your dealership and feel what we are going through is absolutely ridiculous! As our car still sits at the shop, we can only hope our vehicle is fixed as promised and hope to have no future problems. This has probably turned us away from ever purchasing a car at your dealership again. I woul like to mention, and give a huge thanks the Ron, the man who sold us the Lincoln Aviator. He was great! All our problems began after the sale was final. More

I ended up buying a Soul and leasing a Rio. The establishment itself was really dirty and poorly maintained. The bathroom was foul! Many of the agents "standing around" were unsavory characters that supported the stereotypical car salesman perception. I feel the guy who writes the deals and juggles the pricing was more than fair on our two trades. He also was able to find options that fit my bottow line and didn't really try to milk me for more than I could afford. The "closer" made a fast job of finallizing the documents but he was kind of put out that I would not buy the extra warranty More

Everything went very smoothly and my husband and I are pleased with the car. The only thing that could have gone better was the process to sign the paperwork. We drove from Cincinnati to this dealership and Craig knew when we were coming. Everything was ready for us, except that there was only 1 person working in the Finance department. We were not financing the car, yet we had to wait 2 hours to sign the paperwork and give Jay our check. We waited 2 hours for a less than 10 minute process. What a waste of a day. Everyone at the dealership was very friendly and nice. I would have thought the on the last weekend of the month there would have been more help in the Finance department. More
