Their prices are fair and their advisors are always upfront about the work that is needed. My first appointment to have the MIL looked at was canceled upon my arrival due to a staffing shortage. Understandable, but a significant inconvenience for me since I drove an hour to get there. I should have been contacted beforehand. I was promised a discount when I returned. After returning the next week, my car was "diagnosed" with an issue that required a third trip because they didn't have the part to fix it that day. Contrary to what I was promised, I received no discount on the diagnostic and was given a rather outrageous quote for both parts and labor. A few days after my visit, I received a message from the service manager asking about my experience. I explained the issues that I had and requested further information regarding the diagnosis and quote. I received no response until I contacted the service manager multiple times and then was completely ignored other than to be told that whatever research and tinkering I did to learn more about the issue couldn't possibly compare to taking it into the shop and having it looked at by so-called professionals. Fair enough, but as I received no answer to my clarifying questions, what good is your diagnosis? After my questions went unanswered again, I then emailed the general manager and received no response from him either. Denying my request for the discount I was promised or a refund for incomplete and inaccurate service is crooked enough, but refusing to provide any further information to me about the issue and how the diagnosis was reached or justifying the labor costs on the quote indicates to me that Germain Honda has no integrity and no intention of standing by their work or their own employees' words. They could not have cared less about helping me get my vehicle fixed or understanding the issue. I would advise anyone needing work on their vehicle done to go elsewhere. More

Their service department is great. Unfortunately when I bought my last car in 2019 I had a bad experience with the sales department and had to go to Fort Meyers Honda. Hopefully the change of personnel will allow me to try Germain next year when I plan to buy a new car. More

I brought my CRV in for preventative maintenance in response to the lights on my Maintenance Minder. My service rep, while perfectly courteous, tried to include a deluxe oil change, costing $100 more response to the lights on my Maintenance Minder. My service rep, while perfectly courteous, tried to include a deluxe oil change, costing $100 more than the standard one, without clearly explaining that it was Germain's recommended service and not what customary maintenance would require. In addition, I declined a myriad of other premium services that were presented to me. Since leaving the dealership less than a week ago, I have experienced a series of error messages/alerts I have never seen before. On my way home from the dealership I received an "Auto High Beam Problem" on my dash. I called my service advisor and told him about this immediately. We agreed that I would monitor it to see if that appeared again. While that message has yet to reappear, I have had 2 other unexplained alerts/errors. On at least 2 occasions, I was prompted to move the key FOB closer to the START button, when it had been placed where I have kept it for years. On another occasion, we encountered a long series of beeps and flashing Task Manager message on the dash during one of our recent drives. This only resolved once the car was turned off. I sent a text and e-mail documenting my experience to the service advisor and service manager. Germain returned my call the day later. I was told they could run diagnostics on my car to try to figure out the cause of these problems. They would charge me to do so unless it could be determined that they caused these problems. I explained I had never encountered these errors before coming to Germain and asked how they would determine whether it was their fault. I got no answer to that question. I told the advisor I did not want to throw good money after bad, had lost confidence in Germain, and would have my dealership at home have a look. Given that I had already spent multiples of the diagnosis fee on my earlier maintenance and the problems didn't exist before I came there, I would have thought they would diagnose the problem at no charge.
