I purchased a vehicle for almost 15k The salesman included Gap policy they offer. I thought at the time this was a good Idea. Two years later my car was totaled accident not my fault. Allstate Insurance was other driver insurance company, They totaled my car out and was willing to pay 4,500 dollars. They used basically Blue book to value my car which is exactly what any insurance company would use. They absolutely will not pay more. I owed 8,500 Allstate paid 4, 500 Gap Insurance Company only willing to pay 1, 098 I paid 900.00 for this Gap insurance Policy. This means out of pocket expense Gap company willing to pay 198.00 Dollars. WHAT A SCAM 2,685 Is the amount im stuck paying. The Gap Insurance Policy scam is they intentionally use NADA Clean Retail to value your car. No Car insurance company on the planet will pay this. I am stuck paying for two more years of car payments at 153.00 for a car thats in junk yard.
