We had the pleasure of working with John Schmittauer while at Germain. This was hands-down the best experience we have ever had at a car dealership. We went there to look for Honda Pilots and found several to our liking. We were very close to buying one but decided to sleep on it. Mr. Schmittauer (I can spell his last name because he sent us a very nice hand-written thank you card for stopping in) did not pressure us in any way. It was so refreshing! When it came to looking at our trade in - they did not give me some kind of story about "..well.. your tires are gonna need replaced in 20k miles, so..." they said we had a NICE- very clean car and gave us a GREAT offer on it! I can tell Germain values good customer service in their salespersons- and it shows. Germain will be the first place we look when it comes time to buy another car. We also plan on using them to service the vehicle when needed. I highly recommend John Schmittauer and Germain Honda of Dublin. I really think this guy & dealership are great, I have taken the time to write two reviews (other review on Google) because I simply had a surprisingly good experience! Working with Cindy was amazing. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and we felt comfortable making such a huge purchase with a wonderful staff! Our only complaint came from the person that did our financials. He was not friendly, very pushy, and we felt as if we were being scammed. This was not how we felt at all with Cindy, so it took us both by a bit of suprise. Overall, we are extremely happy with our purchase from this dealership with Cindy. I am stopping work at my place of business as I feel the need to recognize the superior customer service and accommodations provided by John Reynolds and the entire time @ Germain Honda in Dublin, OH. John took a no-pressure approach to sales when interested in looking @ an Odyssey....and ultimately, during one of the final sales of the 2011 calendar year on December 31st, succeeded in delivering a Honda Pilot in the same professional, no-pressure, honest, and credible fashion that one would only hope for from a used car sales team. However, it is here where John separated Germain Honda from other dealers. Following his receipt of a laundry list of items that I found/wanted addressed on my vehicle prior to and immediately following the sale, John provided all the right answers in taking care of his customer and minimizing wasted time and cost. In fact, despite what could have been a major error and oversight regarding one technical item @ time of sale, John and his team took responsibility and made everything right. I am completely satisfied with my purchase, his approach to sales, and the amount of customer service and a "no problem - can do" attitude that John and Germain Honda have provided. I will be with this dealership for this and future purchases for a long time so long as they maintain this approach to their product and customers.
