We have been in contact with you regarding your concerns and per your own admission, it was not until a month after buying the car you noticed a knocking in the front end. You then took the car to a third-party mechanic and were told that it needed a control arm. This was in late July/early August. It was not until the middle of October that we heard from you regarding this issue. That means you knowingly drove on the car with a damaged control arm for over two months. The control arm was not an issue at the time of our delivery of the vehicle. Neither our mechanics or you raised this as a concern. Something must have happened after you took possession of the vehicle (running over a curb, hitting a pothole, etc) that caused this control arm damage. And because you chose to drive the car for over two months with a damaged control arm, the suspension was even further damaged, resulting in over $3000 of damage. The Carfax for every single car we sell is available to view for free on our website. We also have every customer sign a copy of the Carfax the day they purchase the vehicle. We would happily email you a copy of your signed Carfax. We offered to perform the repairs needed at cost, potentially saving you many hundreds of dollars. In the three months since we have not heard from you. We are still happy to proceed with the repairs at cost if you’d like to move forward with them. Best Regards, Craig Ferguson General Manager

More lies and bluster by Germain. The mechanic we took the Honda to stated that the damage had occurred over a very long period of time and was certainly present when the vehicle was in Germain's possession prior to the sale. Granted we may have made it worse by being sold a car that we thought was in fine condition and then driving on a damaged suspension but from the several mechanics we consulted about the wear. It is apparent that the control arm was just waiting to break and your own salesman basically admitted it was damaged when stating it may have had substantial wear but was in "Germain's acceptable standard" for sale. Also let it be known that this response is certainly not by Craig Ferguson because not once during this process did he take the time to return calls or emails personally
