battery warranty When I purchased my 2010 Odessey Honda from Germain Honda in Dublin Columbus, in 2013, a new battery installed. They did not provide proof of the new When I purchased my 2010 Odessey Honda from Germain Honda in Dublin Columbus, in 2013, a new battery installed. They did not provide proof of the new battery. This month (Oct, 2016) I took the car in to Germain Honda in Beavercreek for battery replacement because it was a Honda battery. It said it is a honda battery of 2013 and 100 months limited warranty. But at the service shop, I was informed if I do not have the proof of purchase of the battery, they do not apply the limited warranty since some people fake the sticker. I must ask, why label a battery in the first place if you cant trust it? I was simply disappointed the warranty is not offered because you distrust your customers. More

So knowledgeable of the car I was looking at; from the pricing, warranty, and all of the bells a whistles of the car. This was a fast and easy transaction. He is very detailed in explaining the detail of maintenance service performed on my vehicles. He also explains what might be expected (i.e., tire tread wear) in the upcoming change of road conditions. The people who answer the phones are very courteous. The mechanics that perform the maintenance are great, too. I commend their great skills in what they do. Also, thanks for the extra step in protecting the interior. The facility is clean. The best thing is that there is hot water in the restroom! More
Deception as a Tactic I just wanted to share with you my experience I had at this dealership on 10/17/16. It was the worst car buying experience I've ever had. I was interested in a 2016 Accord LX and found it on their website early in the afternoon for $23,840 ($21k with discounts) and immediately called to schedule a test drive. Stacey scheduled me in for 5:30 and when I got there, he was busy. That's not a big deal, so I ended up working with Stephen. Before I took it out to drive, he informs me that this Accord LX is "special." This car has several dealer options installed that brings the price up to $29,900! That price was not advertised, nor noted on the website! After discussing with him how wrong that was with that DECEPTIVE RUSE by your dealership, he went to talk to the manager, and he comes back and says "they feel terrible that I feel DECEIVED" (no admission of mistake or apology) and also said the price of the car will be at $24,500; basically discounting the dealer options off the car. I believed that was fair and proceeded with the test drive. After determining this was the car I wanted, we ran a credit app and numbers for a lease and for financing. When I reviewed the sheet, it had the accessories at cost (about $4,700) included in price of the car. That's not what Stephen told me before I drove the car, he said $24,500 (before the accessories, they did reduce price to $21,899, essentially the advertised discounts from the website.) Then on top of that, if I decided to lease the car, he said the options would have to come off the car?! Honda is advertising a lease special for this model. They are promoting this 16 Accord LX, options should be on the car as well as honoring the lease special. The lease payment presented to me from Stephen was way off what I calculated using the lease payment calculator on Honda's site and they said the lease special wouldn't apply because of those options. He did come back with a "back up plan" offer for a 2017 Accord LX because he could not get me the 2016 Accord LX at the discounted advertised price. That was not the car I came in for! This whole situation was set up with FALSE ADVERTISEMENT on the website. I would've not even come in knowing that. Then they said they would work with the advertised price; then added the accessories at cost in at the table; adding up to TWO DECEPTIONS. I took screenshots of the car listed at $23k and now as of 10/18/16, it's listed at $28k. I'm glad they covered themselves and adjusted the online ad. Worst. Car Buying Experience. Ever! More

I called Germain Honda, they ordered the part and called me back to schedule an appt when it arrived. I brought my vehicle in and the replacement was taken care of in less than an hour. The waiting room was comfortable with coffee, water and some homemade snacks and fruit available. They even did a free 24 point inspection and went over everything with me. I highly recommend this dealership and will continue to bring my vehicle to them. More
