When I talked to my service advisor, Katelyn Hoover, I stressed how important it was that my car be worked on in the morning and not pushed back until later in the day. I've had multiple experiences in the past where I'd drop my car off at a dealership for a morning appointment, it wouldn't be looked at until the afternoon, and then a part would have to be ordered and it would be too late in the day for the repair to be completed until the next day. I couldn't have that happen in this case (I HAVE to have the car tomorrow), and really if you drop the car off for a morning appointment, it should be worked on in the morning. Anyway, Katelyn promised that she would call me as soon as she knew something the following morning (today) and that's exactly what she did. By 8:15 am I knew what needed to be done and I authorized the repair. Several things were being done, and my car was ready for pickup by mid-afternoon. Once again Katelyn kept her word and called me to say it was ready (I've had times in the past when I'd never get a call, I would only get information by calling a service department and sometimes the car would be ready; other times it wouldn't have even been looked at until I called.) In short, I needed repairs, and Katelyn got it done on time, and kept me informed throughout the process. She made the situation pretty pain-free, and I appreciate that. More

We only had another hour or so to complete the outbound trip so we rolled our windows down and pressed on. We were 730 miles from home and our new battery ran down overnight. I called back to Germain to ask Dan's advice since he knows our car's history and has always watched out for it. He diagnosed the problem over the phone and quickly suggested a temporary fix until I could get back to Dayton. I followed his advice and everything worked out great - no costly repairs while on vacation and the man who cares was the one who could correct the issue. He called back next day just to check and make sure everything was ok. That's real customer service. More

The service is quite bad, sometimes dangerously so I took both of my Honda cars to this dealership for services associated with Honda recalls. When the first one was serviced, I also asked the service I took both of my Honda cars to this dealership for services associated with Honda recalls. When the first one was serviced, I also asked the service to change oil, do tire rotation, and thoroughly check the car because we were going on a long trip shortly after. I do not know how the recall work was done, but because of the Germain tire rotation I had to bring the car to a different shop for balancing. The fluids were not checked; the washer fluid was out when in a couple of days we needed it; and the very next day after the checkup that gave a clean bill of health for the vehicle we had to purchase a new battery because the car would not start. Later, when I had to take my second vehicle for a recall service that only a dealership is authorized by Honda to perform, I did not order any additional services in view of my previous experience. When I was taking the car from the dealership after the service, I was told that they adjusted tire pressure because that was too low. Even with my previous experience, I could not imagine anything going wrong with this simple operation, so I did not check tire pressure right away. But when I checked it the next morning, I was in for a huge surprise: the pressure in my tires was from 18 psi to 24 psi, while the manufacturer recommended pressure is 36 psi. It is very hard to believe that in less than 15 hours the tires lost about half of their pressure, especially in view of the fact that these tires were pretty good at holding the air before and after the Germain visit. I can only conclude that the pressure that Germain service set was dangerously low. More
