Professional, friendly, and Fair I enjoyed working with Steve the entire time. He was extremely friendly from the get-go (and yeah of course a car salesman is going to be friendly), b I enjoyed working with Steve the entire time. He was extremely friendly from the get-go (and yeah of course a car salesman is going to be friendly), but it was the type of friendliness that he really wanted to help you find the right car for you. I came in thinking I wanted one type of car, and after a series of questions of answers, he directed me towards something else that would suit my needs better (and cheaper). Never felt like he was trying to upsell anything to me. I would highly highly recommend anyone wanting to buy a car from Honda Germain to specifically request Steve. Further more, the one-star review on Steve's page does not look credible. Steve never refers to himself as Stephen. Introduced himself as Steve and everyone in the store called him Steve. More

Good Dealership Had a good experience with this dealership. Took them a little while to get the car I wanted to buy ready because it had not yet been serviced, but other than that everything went smoothly. The purchase was a used car and will see how it holds up and make that my determining factor as to whether I buy here again or recommend them to others. More
Once the sale is made, don't expect much customer service Germain Honda of Beavercreek is by far the worst dealership I have encountered. I have been a window cleaner for 23 years, working at/around a half do Germain Honda of Beavercreek is by far the worst dealership I have encountered. I have been a window cleaner for 23 years, working at/around a half dozen or more car dealerships, and have visited a few as a shopper (aside from Germain) and never have I seen such a lack of business ethics and poor after-purchase customer care. My wife expressed the same as she has purchased from a Honda dealership in her native Massachusetts, and has also had other experience with various vehicle retail outlets. Almost from the beginning, Germain showed it's greed and apathy in smaller, and then bigger ways. We thought our 2015 Honda CR-V simply did not have cup holders in the front. I looked it up online and discovered that it did have them, as originally sold. I called Germain about it, and ended up buying them myself. It was not extraordinarily expensive, but I was a little taken aback that Germain did not offer to provide them to us on their dime. Then a few weeks ago, my wife took our 2015 CR-V to them for an oil change. They said our tires were down to 3mm and they recommended replacement. My wife called me from the dealer, and I said "no", thinking that after driving the vehicle only 5,652 miles since purchase, that the dealer should replace them for us since we were told specifically that the tires "were in good shape" and the fact we also purchased an add-on tire warranty from Germain. The dealership asked we bring the car in a second time to "re-check" the tread depth, and it was "discovered" that the tread depth was now 5mm-6mm all around. The explanation was that "the tire gauge used the first time was defective", so there was no need for replacement after all. I became interested in seeing this for myself at home, so I bought an inexpensive analog tire tread depth gauge and checked it myself. Upon my own inspection, it appeared that the tread depth on all 4 tires was actually between 3mm and 4mm. Alarmed, I brought the vehicle back to Germain (for the 3rd time) and the service manager came out and showed me the "defective" tire gauge and used that gauge and a "properly working" one to show me the tires were all at 5mm-6mm. Hmmmmm. I still do not understand how my measurement at home could be so far off... We purchased the CR-V on November 11, 2017 and it was cool enough to not need any air conditioning. Then came Winter. Spring weather arrives in early May (more or less - we live in Ohio, after all) and we turn on the air conditioner. Even when set on "Max A/C", the performance of the 2015 CR-V air conditioner was not as cold as my 2003 Honda Pilot EX (which I did NOT purchase at Germain). I called Germain and asked them if they would recharge the A/C for us and they quickly attempted to set an appointment for me. I asked if the dealership was going to provide this to us at no cost since we paid $24.5 k for the CR-V and the A/C was weak the first time we needed to use it this Spring. After the call center at Germain spoke with Sales and Service, it was decided that since the CR-V was not "Certified" (it was leased by Germain to one owner only, previous to our purchasing it) and it was out of the 3 month warranty period specified by the dealership, WE would be paying (I assume full service price) for the recharging of the A/C on the CR-V. WOW and OW. Needless to say, I did NOT make that service appointment and resolved to never call, recommend, or have anything good to say about Germain Honda (in spite of what my mother told me about "If you don't have anything nice to say..."). We will be moving out of state very soon and will consider it an added benefit to our move that we will not be geographically near Germain Honda of Beavercreek, Ohio. Oh, by the way, my personal mechanic worked for Germain Ford in the service department as an ASE certified mechanic, and Germain is, in his words "a bunch of crooks." UPDATE 7/27/2018: I felt that my review of Germain might have been unfair, so I re-read the posting. Although I still feel the same way, I must say that the dealership did not necessarily do anything ethically, morally, or professionally wrong?!? All in all, they most likely followed their company guidelines and as a privately owned dealership, answer to higher-ups like everyone else. I believe that a little more personal consideration could have been brought too bear in our case, but, you get what you pay for, and we did not pay (or spend) enough apparently to warrant that kind of "extra" consideration. My view of Germain is now neutral; the facts stand. Hopefully, our experience will not take away from or add to their success. More
Ed Horton is amazing. this was the second dealership I had been to and the difference was night and day. Ed was helpful and fun to work with. If he was offended by my ina this was the second dealership I had been to and the difference was night and day. Ed was helpful and fun to work with. If he was offended by my inappropriate language or dark humor he did not let on. I told him what I wanted to spend (spoiler:it wasn't a lot) and he got me my dream car no problem. It helped that my credit wasn't complete garbage. I do not know much about your dealership as I thought I was at Jeff Schmidt, but if Ed is a representation then you guys are awesome. My only complaint is that it took financing an hour to get to me, and my babies needed to go to bed. There should be better staffing. But this is not Ed's fault because Ed rocks. More

I've previously tried other shops but never had the honesty and customer service that I get here at Germain Honda. They are always friendly and super aware of the fact that I am waiting for my car while it's being serviced. They also realize that I'm not made of money and provide a complete understanding of what is necessary to keep my vehicle running safe. Please keep up the good work- it took me a long time to find a great service shop and I plan to never go anywhere else with the 5 star service you currently provide! More
