Steve Theros, my service representative, was always kind and informative, up front about which repairs were essential and which were not, always made the effort to get my car in and out as quickly as possible. He is an exemplary employee who over the years has become a friend! When the transmission went out on my van, I was completely shocked, as I'd been hoping to keep driving it for another 100,000 miles. I had not given a moment's thought to buying another car, so I was not at all sure what our family wanted or needed at this time. When I walked into the new/used car part of the dealership, I was immediately drawn to Corky Wattles. It is extremely important to have competent women in positions of leadership - even more so in a profession that is comprised primarily of men. Corky understood and honored my grief at losing that old van- all the memories of raising my children with that car - she really got it and didn't make me feel like an idiot as I cried while removing all of our things out of the car. She was patient and not the least bit pushy as we considered the options of buying/leasing another car. Even though she was new in the dealership, she had a good grasp of the information about the different cars, the pros and cons of buying new, used or leasing. When she didn't know the answer to my questions, there was no pretense; she asked for help from colleagues, who also were great. Joel Rosentreter was especially helpful on one of Corky's days off. In the end, we decided to lease a 2014 Odyssey, as our children will be off to college in the next three years and we don't know if we'll continue to need a van at that point. I really appreciated that Corky and Joel made the effort to get me exactly what I wanted. The dealership did not have the color I wanted, but they found what I wanted at another dealership and gave me a snazzy new CRV as a loaner car until the van was ready the next day. I'll continue to call Steve Theros when I need service. And who knows? In three years I may want to purchase this technological marvel on wheels that I'm driving around town today. Or... when I can downsize, I just may want to get a new CRV. And when I do, you can be sure that I'll be coming to Corky Wattles and Joel Rosentreter at Germain Honda of Ann Arbor to help me decide what I want! More
This being my very first car buying experience, I was nervous. I had my eye set on the Honda Civic since I was going for super simple but had no idea what I was getting into. Evan made it super simple to understand and even recommended me what he would do personally. When I didn't approved the first time around, Evan saw how distraught I was, assured me that Jonathon would get me approved even with a couple extra steps, and even took me to work when my ride was running late! When I finally did get approved a couple days later, Jonathon told me that his representative even said Jonathon was giving him a hard time for trying so hard to get me approved. He told him that he had given me his word and he went to great lengths to keep it. Evan was genuinely excited for my very first car purchase and taught me all the basics to working all the fancy equipment inside the car. Thanks so much for all your patience and diligence! More

They are especially noteworthy because, as a small business man whose work involves not only businesses and clients in the USA bus abroad as well, I frequently meet with people in customer service positions who are pro forma, inefficient, and lack the knowledge to answer my questions. By contrast, these four individuals at Germain Honda give not only me -- but I believe every client of Germain who deals with them -- the type of service that brings great credit to themselves but also to the General Manager, Mr. Farkas, and Germain as well. Why, oh WHY did I never go to the dealership before to get an oil change??? MUCH cheaper than those uncle-spots AND they CLEANED MY CAR!!!! Quick, easy, cheap and out of there in a jiffy.
