I had just broken up my fiancé a week prior, and the only reason I was getting a car was because my old one needed repairs that I wasn't willing to pay for (wasn't going to pay for a rebuilt engine and a rebuilt trans in a 2001 Chevy Malibu). I told my brother I was considering the CR-V, and he went right into action, searching online for CR-Vs and sending me pictures of them. Once I finally decided on one, it happened to be at Germain. My brother, who lives in DC, made plans to come to Detroit to help me with the process, take me to the dealership for the test drive, etc. He was the one who connected with Brian Waskiewicz over the phone, and made the appointment for us to come in on Saturday 5/9 for a test drive. Despite the fact that I was feeling pretty low emotionally due to the breakup of my engagement, Brian's personality, conversation, and overall automotive knowledge caused me to forget about my personal issues and enjoy the car buying process. He explained information that was important for me to know, answered all of my questions as well as my brother's questions, and was overall just great to be around. To add to the above, Clifton Elasivich did an excellent job in helping me choose the best products to protect my car purchase, and explained each of the products available in such a way that I feel confident that I made the right decision. I get the feeling that I'll be a Germain customer for life! :-) More
