Luis was helpful and not too pushy; he was also understanding of my situation that I wasn't looking to buy right at that moment but rather to test drive in case my current car died. After I graduated college I was finally ready to purchase a new Civic. I went back to Luis and not only did he remember my situation, he greeted me like an old, established client. He and the whole team were friendly and helpful, even wishing me many "Happy birthdays" since I went in to buy on my birthday. Throughout the process I was treated with respect, not always the case for a first time buyer, especially as a young woman. Would definitely recommend Germain Honda to friends. More

Louis and the crew understood instantly that I was looking for the Civic Si--took it for a test drive and knew it was exactly what I was looking for. She's just gorgeous--impressed me with available power bursts, beautiful handling, and love the 6 forward gears. Served me well on her first voyage, around Chicago. (And made my car-savvy brother envious!) I LOVE this car! Louis Downey, by the way, practically bent over backwards to help throughout the process, even rescheduling a trade-in evaluation date to accommodate my (suddenly) badly sprained ankle. He was great, knowledgeable, helpful, terrific. Found the vehicle I wanted, got it here in amazingly timely fashion, with add-ons, in time for a scheduled family road-trip. (I've had folks in the past--not here, but elsewhere--who have sometimes had a condescending attitude toward a female buyer. But Germain folks were great!) Glenn Gottfried was also terrific with the financial details, very clear, and injected a little humor as well. (Who knew you could joke about a high credit rating?!) I am 110% happy with my experience with all the folks at Germain Honda, and LOVE my Civic Si! More

I've bought three cars from this dealer (one while still Howard Cooper and two while Germain) and all times were good experiences. If you are looking for a Honda I highly recommend shopping here. Ask for Luis Downey he is a good guy. Cliff Elsavich is also a great finance guy. He showed me what would be good for me on the vehicle, he was super-knowledgeable about the process, and got me out of there quick. I am personally very hard to please when it comes to car shopping (I hate it) and these guys made it enjoyable and they gave me a very fair price. I had shopped a couple of dealers prior to coming to Germain and they all tried to jerk me around and give me as little as possible for my trade. These guys at Germain treated me right. More

Our family put off a van for as long as possible but we needed the extra space, and this is the perfect family car! We went with the EX-L that has leather seats, the rear entertainment system (a must for the kids-they love it), and tons of cool new features! Since in Michigan, we also got all season car mats and some additional coverage plans for the vehicle itself. Luis and his team at Germain were great, and they awere very accommodating to our family!
