My experience was one of the best I've ever had in trading in and buying a new car...I have shopped at BMW and at Volvo and found this experience just as good or even better...To me it all starts with trading in and buying a new car...I have shopped at BMW and at Volvo and found this experience just as good or even better...To me it all starts with how friendly your sales representative is and if you really believe he/she has your best interest in mind while still making a profit of course..Lee Green did this for me. My old car was in need of a variety of expensive car repairs and I had had enough. I needed to buy another car in a hurry and was kinda stressed out. I was in the market for a Nissan or maybe a Honda, but definitely NOT a Ford. I looked all over and wasn't finding what I was looking for, especially for the money. My husband is into Fords and kept trying to get me to look at the Ford Fusion. When I wasn't looking, he pulled into the Germaine Ford lot. I didn't even want to get out of the car. Luckily Kris came out before my husband and I got into a fight over cars. Kris was great! Professional, laid-back, good sense of humor, knowledgeable about cars, and NOT PUSHY. I felt like he wanted to help us find a car that would make me happy and not just to get another sale. Honestly, we went to several dealerships in and around Columbus and the experience was not good. I felt like no one really wanted to help us. Of course that all changed when we met Kris. Actually, everyone at the dealership was very nice and helpful. I bought a Ford Fusion and am happy with my purchase. My husband still can't believe he convinced me to buy a Ford! I would recommend Kris and Germaine Ford to all of my family and friends. It was a good experience. More
Met promptly. Was asked leading questions by sales consultant. Had personal questions answered. Was able to test drive more than one vehicle. This place is amazing. NOT HERE. This place treats you like family. I arrived to smiling faces, courtous staff, and more service after the fact than I expected from anyone. I can not say enough wonderful things about the service department. I am confident in their work, and appreciate their focus on customer service, it makes them worth the drive past the other 2 Ford lots to get to them. More
I have a 2005 F150 Supercrew, it just turned 100,000 miles and is out of warrently... in the last 2 months I have had 2 fuel injectiors go bad...due to timeing and location I had to take it to a repair miles and is out of warrently... in the last 2 months I have had 2 fuel injectiors go bad...due to timeing and location I had to take it to a repair shop other than Ford...upon finding out that the injectors were covered up to 120,000 mile...I called Ford's customer service line who told me to contact a dealer ...not sure if they would help since I had it repaired at a shop other than Ford..... I called Germain's Service manager, Ralph Cumston on Wednesday last week and received an answer today that Ford was going to refund me the cost of the 2 bad fuel injectors...I was very please with his helpful attitude and his willingness to assist. that is one of the main reasons that my family have purchased Ford's since the 1950's thank you for your help..... I was in the market for a use car, and being a lover of Fords, checked out Germain. Started out working with Mary, who was extremely polite and kind, despite my lousy credit. She introduced me to Robin, wh Fords, checked out Germain. Started out working with Mary, who was extremely polite and kind, despite my lousy credit. She introduced me to Robin, who worked VERY hard to secure me a loan for my Focus. Jason who helped me get the financing was very friendly and helpful, although the first night we started working on it was I was left in a featureless room for almost three hours and was only checked in on twice, but that's okay since I'd rather they be working to help me, than spending time holding my hand. My Focus is in decent shape, although the a CV joint appears to be going bad, and the brakes cause a repetitive squeak. Overall I'm very satisfied with my experience. While the car may have some issues, the sales staff at Germain Ford are extremely pleasant to work with, and I look forward to working with them again in the future! More
Went out today, looking for a new car and expecting to shop around at 3 (at a minimum) dealers. Upon arrival the service was great. Found the perfect car right away, and since the service given to us by Rex Osborne was so prompt, informative, and friendly, decided to look no further. They went out of their way to make sure I received the best financing option and I never felt pushed into anything. It was an enjoyable experience and day, and I left the lot with a brand new Fusion. The customer service helped ease any stress or apprehension I had with buying a new car. Would definitely go there again for future purchases and will be recommending Germain to friends and family. I purchased a brand new Focus at Germain and returned to have some items fixed and the service manager was rude and refused to take care of my issue. This is a brand new car with only 6000 miles on it and t have some items fixed and the service manager was rude and refused to take care of my issue. This is a brand new car with only 6000 miles on it and the selling dealer refuses to take care of the customer. Service after the sale is the worst and I guess it will require a complaint with the BBB to get the problem resolved. I am very disappointed with the way I was treated and I will be cancelling my service contract with Germain and not returning to that dealership for anything in the future. More
Kris was knowledgeable, very friendly, helpful and did not pressure us at all while we were looking. If he didn't know the answer to a question, he found the answer. We have purchased other vehicles from this dealership and continue to be satisfied with their sales and service department. More
