I purchased a vehicle at Germain Ford early in 2011, but was not happy with the overall experience. I expressed my concerns in a Ford survey at that time. Nevertheless, I went back to Germain Ford recently to again purchase a new vehicle. This dealership is very close to my home and, therefore, is the obvious choice. The salesman at Germain was friendly and knowledgeable. However, the vehicle I wanted was not in stock. I asked if they could "search" for the vehicle I wanted, but was told no. I did some research on the internet and located the vehicle I wanted at another Ford dealership 40 miles from my home. This was the closest dealership that had the vehicle I wanted. It was a completely different experience at the other dealership. The salesman and sales manager seemed very interested in making me a happy customer. The people there, overall, were much friendlier and were interested in me. There were several other customers in the showroom while I was there and it seemed that all of them were happy. I would have much preferred to purchase the vehicle from a dealership closer to home. However, the difference in the quality of customer service was striking. More
