Touch and go I found a used vehicle at Germain that suited my needs. I called and came to a quick agreement with a very nice sales person, and flew from Atlanta to I found a used vehicle at Germain that suited my needs. I called and came to a quick agreement with a very nice sales person, and flew from Atlanta to Columbus OH the next day to purchase the vehicle. The finance person offered me an after market service contract that he assured me I could cancel within a few days if I didn't like it after I had time to look it over. I agreed and it was added into the contract. HUGE MISTAKE. I cancelled it the next day because no one here would have anything to do with it, because it's not a dealer's warranty. What I didn't realize is that Germain Ford added the price of the finance agreement to the purchase price of the vehicle. This means I would be paying finance charges on the purchase price of the vehicle. I could not get any response from Germain Ford until I went through the BBB, and finally someone contacted me. They agreed to pay the purchase price of the service agreement on the principle of the loan, which was satisfactory. I only had to pay interest on one month and the additional fee for registration on the inflated purchase price of the vehicle. I would advise anyone NOT to sign up for an additional service agreement. I should have known better. Besides, cheap auto service agreements can be found anywhere. They advertise them on TV constantly. More

Was a little hesitant about going to Germain because I had had a less than pleasant experience with Germaine Lexus a few years ago. My interest was answered by email from a Chris Andreas, I stopped in to talk to him and I am so glad I did, from the start he said he wanted my experience to be pleasurable and uneventful, and believe me he delivered, didn't have the color I wanted in stock so he didn't hesitate in getting it from another dealership, Chris made My experience outstanding, I love the truck it's a 2016 Ford XLT. Rick Germaine you should feel very proud and fortunate to have a salesman of Chris's caliber representing your company! More
Great Service I have been looking for a Ford Edge for about a year in Central Ohio. I talked to Kris and told him what I was looking for. Within 2 weeks I had my Ed I have been looking for a Ford Edge for about a year in Central Ohio. I talked to Kris and told him what I was looking for. Within 2 weeks I had my Edge. The people that cleaned and detailed the car did an excellent job. The buying experience was excellent. Kris and John did a great job. They are an asset to Germain Ford. I would recommend Germain to anyone looking for a new or used car. More
Good initial service, bad follow up (follow through) I purchased a used vehicle. After a couple days I noticed it had a few problems. Wiper blades were broke, drivers side windshield molding was coming o I purchased a used vehicle. After a couple days I noticed it had a few problems. Wiper blades were broke, drivers side windshield molding was coming off, the drivers side window wouldn't close properly because of molding and the vehicle needed an alignment. **Additionally the transmission slips at 70MPH+.** The dealership has not responded to these issues. I would recommend a different dealership for used vehicle sales based on poor follow up. **Update. I was contacted by the dealership and my vehicle is currently being looked at. My biggest concern remains the transmission. It slips at 70mph+. This would have been difficult for the dealership or myslef to spot during a test drive. I hope with this being a "new" vehicle to me, we can come to a resolution. I will update this post upon completion of whatever action is taken. I'm hopeful the vehicle will be totally fixed. More

Great Experience! I had been shopping around for a new vehicle for about 2 months before just stopping in to wander the lot full of cars. Chris Andreas was out on the lot and was helpful educating me on the different vehicles, models and options...and the fast way to ID the model I was interested in. I was looking at the EDGE, and wanted the sport version,...and he was able to help me out!...It's the "black-out grill" that is the mark of the Sport Edge! LOL! Since I was there at the end of the day, I set up a test drive with Chris for the Weekend. It was great! Nice long drive in traffic and the highway....and then we switched seats and he demonstrated the different "parking" and "safety" assist functions...It was a no-brainer for me. Chris was on-top of the process, got the paperwork started and this was a fast transaction. Smooth and really easy. Easy to contact and keep in touch with Chris... very friendly, professional, and honest. When I asked questions that he didn't have answers for, he got the people that did...and fast. Namely, Brian Driver in the parts and accessories area was definitely a big help. I was replacing a VW diesel that was part of the buyback program, and had tried many cars and trucks and different makes...I was very close to purchasing a GM crossover from a neighboring dealership...and for some odd reason, never thought to try Ford, The biggest selling points were the great people in the showroom (Chris and Brian), the awesome car, competitive price, solid feel of the vehicle, lots of "technology, engineering and toys"....and this car was built in the USA, not China. I like having a home built, high quality car....And it is AWD and loads of power from the twin turbocharged V6....great in the snow and rain...and my 80 year old mom was able to get in and out without being boosted or pulled up and in...and she felt safe and comfortable....That's a HUGE win for me ...all around! Thanks again to Chris and Brian...I stumbled in on a fluke and left very happy!...Also wanted to give kudos to the personal familiarization with the features of the car before leaving the showroom. The young lady that helped me with the technology and toys in the car...and the touch screen dash...everything was wonderful...I am so sorry I don't recall her name, she was very helpful. Sales Consultant Kris Crawford was easy to deal with and helpful throughout. Ultimately it was his follow up with information regarding vehicle maintenance history which was key to the deal. If not for that I had planned to walk away based on price. My only two "cons" is that there was little to no concession on the listed price and no attempt to sweeten the deal. I feel I paid an average price but not a spectacular deal by any means. Only other "con" was that it is a nice vehicle but interior detailing left a little to be desired. Exterior detailing was good. They were able to handle my insurance changes as there is an Allstate agent on-site, and accepted my rental car return which saved me a trip. Both were nice full-service features. More
