Went in to have a service that was discovered when I brought the car in for an oil change. First, let it be said that I tried working with the sales dept. to find the BMW I was looking for 2 months unt brought the car in for an oil change. First, let it be said that I tried working with the sales dept. to find the BMW I was looking for 2 months until I gave in and went to the East Coast. I brought it in for the oil change (and general evaluation) and after dropping off the car and approving the work order, the service tech called to say, "You realize the price of the oil change, correct?" I was mildly offended, but shrugged it off as a different customer service approach. The car checked out well, but needed a repair. I brought it back in and had the repair done. After two days of driving, I noticed the same noise. Brought her back in...to learn that the problem was something else and that they would essentially be junking the $500 repair from before to get to the "real" problem --which should have been determined when the part was replaced by all reasonable means. After learning this, I went to the car and noted that the car had not been driven at all (I recorded the mileage ) since I turned it in for the second evaluation. They explicitly stated that they test drove the car to evaluate the noise. The service person also attempted to make two identical claims with my warranty company that day and the company called me to say BEWARE. At the end of many conversations, it was decided that they should have noticed the origin of the problem and would do the job that I already paid for again -but only if I had the other repair done there as well. Be aware of the questionable service practices. Notice too that the most recent reviews are back-to-back-to-back, date-wise. Another red flag of the integrity of Germain BMW. More
I was impressed with the overall professionalism and friendliness of ALL the staff, including those with whom I wasn't directly involved during the negotiation process. Service after the sale was also remarkable--the dealership went out of their way to handle the extra details even after I drove off the lot. Despite the fact I was buying a used car, I was treated with the same courtesy and respect that I would have received as a new car buyer. The Internet Sales Manager was a pleasure to work with and earned my recommendation here--he made my trip into Florida from out-of-state entirely worth the effort. The dealership is a credit to the BMW marque. More
Just picked up a new BMW here and they could not be nicer! The overall dealership looks new/clean/bright and the people were very friendly. Our sales person was BMW smart and very attntive. The Reasons WHY we actually enjoyed buying a car from this dealership: 1. Larry Oblinger (the Sales Manager) is a wonderful man to know and deal with. 2. Jim McGinn (our Sales Rep) is the most knowledg this dealership: 1. Larry Oblinger (the Sales Manager) is a wonderful man to know and deal with. 2. Jim McGinn (our Sales Rep) is the most knowledgeable sales person we have ever purchased a car from. He was able to explain the myraid of differences between the various models and also the pros and cons of each vehicle. Jim McGinn made our car delivery experience a joy. He actually showed us how to operate and utilize all of the high tech features in our new BMW. In addition, Jim actually came to our home to program our new car's Universal Remote Control button to operate our garage door opener! Unlike most car salesmen who only care about selling a car, Jim McGinn cares about developing a real relationship and partnership that will continue long in the long term. 3. The entire dealership is new, and everything is spotless. 4. The Service Department is by far the most technical and efficient. Not only do they keep your vehicle running perfectly, but they also wash your car every weekend. 5. They are dog friendly and always have dog treats! 6. The coffee is great. 7. They have WI-FI. More
Mark was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Still, I was hoping to spend a bit less than what we ultimately paid so I rated this area only a 4. Of course a BMW dealership is not a 'basic car lot', and I do understand that there are considerable costs that must be covered to maintain service loaner cars and other amenities. This is our 2nd BMW from this dealer and 7th overall but is the 1st new one - normally try to find a 7-12,000 mile certified car. I look forward to working with Mark when we are in the market for our next one. More
