It's the high pressure sales people that give me a feeling that they can't be trusted. John Scanlan changed that for us. He was friendly, informative and was patient as my wife and I tried to figure out which model was right for us. We test drove a number of models and never once did we feel rushed to make a decision or finalize a deal. He did things at a pace that allowed us to make the right decision. I would highly recommend John and the Germain Dealership! More
As I was looking online I chatted with Shaun and we made plans for me to make the 2 hour trip to Naples to look at the car. Shaun immediately gave me multiple ways to contact him. He was very responsive to any additional requests for information and was very knowledgeable, and assisted me to choosing the right vehicle for my lifestyle. I actually looked forward to meeting him. The buying process can be somewhat convoluted, but Shaun made me feel comfortable across the board, from the pre-certification process to the pricepoint on the vehicle. Shaun and his dad delivered the car to me in Sarasota the next day it was filled with gas and immaculate. The 750li is an amazing auto. My husband and I both enjoy driving it. More
This was the second buying experience with Jim as my advisor. Needless to say, if the first experience wasn't a good one, there wouldn't had been a second. Instead of purchasing a Cadillac which I had planned to, I decided on a B M W because of a problem I experienced at DeVoe. This is the first time in 30 yuears that I don't own at least one Cadillac. I received one of Jim's "customer satisfaction" calls around that time and that was one of the reasons my wife is driving a B M W and not a Cadillac. I retired three years ago from a 47 year career in sales and management. I wish I had some "Jim McGinns" working for me when I was in management, but not as my competitor when I was in sales. Jim has all the qualities of a great salesman. He also has a terrific service department backing him up. More

I started the ordering process last spring with an employee who later left the dealership. When Jim stepped in he did a good job of assessing my needs and desires. Our experience in purchasing our used Lexus was great! Bernardo was very nice to deal with; the vehicle was pristine in condition; we felt the trade was fair. The only problem we experienced was that the "service" light came on within 600 mi of purchasing the vehicle, while we were on our way home to Indiana. We had to find a dealership enroute for servicing. Service records showed that the vehicle was due for servicing at the time of the sale. Despite this minor inconvenience, we LOVE our vehicle and expect many years of quality performance!! I would not hesitate to shop at Germain again in the future. More

This purchase was the second from Jim, and it will not be the last! I am 60 years old and have purchased many new vehicles over the last 40+ years. If one hates to get involved in a new car purchase due to the back and forth negotiations,involving the introduction of sales managers, etc.,this sales associate is for you. Of course he could not do business the way he does without the philosophy of the dealership itself, so the dealer is also held in very high regard. The conclusion one might come to, is that I'm not interested in trying to drive a hard bargain. Sure, any transaction is smooth and easy if price doesn't matter! That is not the case with me. I research what I intend to buy thoroughly and know going in what I am willing to pay. Then after the transaction, I confirm the result with my brother-in-law, who is the sales manager at a dealer in another state. On both purchases from Jim, my brother-in-law told me I slightly beat his best possible price on one and matched his rock bottom price on the other. He said I could not have done better, with the dealer making his smallest aceptable profit on both transactions. More
