I bought my Altima in 2006.Was told I got a deal because my car was part of a fleet of Altimas with an engine issue. So, they were recalled and a new engine put in.So, that's good ...right??? I take it in. They say my oil is gone! Burning it some how. I get an oil change every 3,000 miles!!! Bone dry?? so, they change it. Same thing continues to happen time and again. Here we are in 2011 and I finally ask them maybe there is a problem with that new engine. They said what new engine? There was NEVER anew engine put in!! Apparently the dealer who sold us the car, lied ! In the meantime, I am still trying to figure out this oil issue! Mark treated my husband rudely. He is young and arrogant! He told me since Nissan didn't do my oil changes, then there is nothing they can do. What? I don't think so!! If my car is making noises and burning oil at lightening speed, then we have A PROBLEM! I DIDN'T CARE FOR THE SERVICE I RECEIVED FROM MARK. AND WE EVEN CALLED THE SERVICE MANAGER AND GOT NO RETURN CALL! ONE WORD.... UNPROFESSIONAL ! More

I called them before I came in and Ferris was the salesman who answered when I requested Sales. I told him was looking for a New 2011 Versa Hatchback Magnetic Grey. He said " I have em" He told me he would have one pulled up washed and waiting for me when I arrived. I thought yea right! But sure enough when we arrived there it was exactly as I requested washed with the options I wanted! Ferris also showed me the new 2012 redesigned model same color. (sedan) I test drove both. I wound up driving home with the 2012 model. It was actually less money for the newer model! I had terrible experiences at Nissan of St Charles (Sam in finance} and Orland Park Nissan (Sherry Jo) who abandoned me for 20 minutes while she went outside to talk on her cell phone. After telling me she would pull a car up for me to look at.(she lost that sale) The people at Gerald Nissan were outstanding! Ferris is the best salesman I have ever had! Nick Smiley who runs the sales floor was Fantastic! and Yasser who took care of me in Fiance made it easy to Finish up the paperwork. I was just about ready to give up on walking into another dealer after the first 2 but Ferris and the people at Gerald Nissan changed all that. More

This was my second purchase from Gerald Nissan, several years ago we bought a new Nissan Exterra, and more recently, bought a new 2010 Nissan Altima Coupe 2.5 S with a premium package. I've owned the car f years ago we bought a new Nissan Exterra, and more recently, bought a new 2010 Nissan Altima Coupe 2.5 S with a premium package. I've owned the car for a year and found it uncomfortable due to the lack of proper lumbar support. Obviously this is not the dealers fault, but not being forthcoming is! While in the process of looking at other car options and having the Altima appraised, it was discovered that the car sustained damage and was filled with compound and painted prior to my purchase. A couple trades fell through because of this, and in the end I had to except $2000 LESS than what everyone was originally offering before this problem was found. I feel duped by Gerald Nissan. We thought we were buying a new car, but in fact we were buying a new car with concealed damage - thus was worth less than what we paid for it. In the end I essentially lost money twice, once during the purchase, and then again while taking significantly less than what the trade should have been worth. Not only will I never step foot into Gerald Nissan again, but I'm also apprehensive of Nissan in general now. My family and friends have vowed to spread the word about these shifty tactics, and will drive to a further dealership if they want a Nissan. More

We drove 90 minutes to get to the dealership because we found a car on line we were interested in, it was well worth the drive. We first e-mailed the dealership and received a very quick response from John found a car on line we were interested in, it was well worth the drive. Keevin Pullen met us at the door and could not have been more pleasant and easy to work with.Yasser Ibrahim helped us with all our paperwork and again very pleasant and easy to work with. Although it was a little time consuming, there was no pressure or hard sell that is so typical of some car dealerships. All in all a very good experiance ! More
