I purchased an 2009 Subaru from Gerald Subaru in 2009. I purchased a 2014 Sentra from Gerald Nissan a few months ago and just a short few weeks ago I purchased a 2014 Maxima from Howard Krick. Howard is probably the most honest car sales man I have every dealt with. I have purchased over 10 cars in my life time. I have never had such a great experience as I have had with Howard and Gerald Nissan. Anthony Miceli also took care of us as well as Boris Gerdov when we purchased the Sentra. I will be back if I need another car. The car will be a Nissan!! Deen Collins you run a GREAT operation. More

I let him know what price and what I was interested in and he helped me find exactly what I wanted. Howard did not try to make me buy anything out of my price range and only wanted me to get what I truely wanted. I suggest anyone looking to buy from Gerald Nissan of Naperville to go to Howard for a great car buying experience. More
Happy Customer I had a great experience with Mr. Dave Webb my salesman, as I purchased my first brand new Nissan. I would recommend this dealership for many reasons I had a great experience with Mr. Dave Webb my salesman, as I purchased my first brand new Nissan. I would recommend this dealership for many reasons. They are friendly, professional and honest. They gave me the feeling that they truly care about their customers. I had heard positive things about them as a dealership but, they exceeded my high expectations! Buying new a crossover was a very big decision and after weeks of research, I feel that I made the best choice buying from Gerald Nissan and their team! They have followed thu with the promises they made and I look forward to our business relationship in the years to come. Sincerely, Theresa M. More
Welcome to Gerald Nissan : Home of the scammers Well, I bought a 350z in 2008 (new) and received a fair deal. Even bought the extended warranty for$1600. Now this car was strictly a summer car and w Well, I bought a 350z in 2008 (new) and received a fair deal. Even bought the extended warranty for$1600. Now this car was strictly a summer car and was never driven in the snow and hardly in the rain. It only has 34k miles on it and is maticulously maintained. Now the prob starts when I pulled it out of storage after not having driven it for a couple months. A service engine light was on, so I brought it in. I had just changed the oil about 2 weeks ago with full synthetic oil, like I always do every 3k-4k miles. I bring it in and here is where the "fun" begins. The service rep begins by telling me that a sensor was triggered because of lack of oil for a long period of time and here is where ALL the lying begins. He then tells me my engine oil level is currently a quart low and that I need a new engine!(lie#1) That's right, a new engine! Now I've been around cars my whole life, in the sense that I know how to maintain, store, and take care of a summer toy. My father had a salvage yard, body shop, and towing business all of which I worked at since I was 14. More to the point is that I know the shady tricks and scams the dealers work to try to scare you into repairs. After all, service reps work on commission too. So I asked him if the sensors ever go bad and his reply of "no"gives me lie #2. At this point he tells me that he needs to run a diagnostic test and drop the pan to check for metal shavings as Nissan won't cover it, even under my EXTENDED WARRANTY which I had (lie #3). I indicated I needed personal belongings out of the car at which point I went back to the service bay and proceeded to check the oil to find that it was FULL! I confronted him about it and he said "that's cuz it was sitting for awhile". Huh??? I should've left at this point but I agreed to the diagnostic fee of $158 and from that point I was told that there were metal shavings in the pan and my engine pressure was low (lies 4&5). I was then bombarded with calls asking me to do further tests in excess of $600. At this point I know that Edgar (the service rep) is trying to scam me. I told him that I want to pick up the car and take it somewhere else which he didn't like. He was persistent on keeping it there telling me that the heads needed to be pulled to check for damage and that $600 is the worst case scenario AND that I STILL need a new engine block in the end. After I said "no" , the SERVICE MANAGER, TOM, called me and said the car needs the tests in order to find out what's wrong. I told him I have the extended warranty and it should be covered. He said it probably would be....probably. Now in dealer terms that means you're about to get screwed. I was persistent on refusing the service and wanted to pick up my vehicle. Upon my arrival I was met by Tom and his entourage of BS. He said if I take it anywhere else that I would have to start over with the diagnostics and my repair bills would be big. Best line of all was " we don't want your money, we want you to be happy!". Now I did take it to another Nissan dealer in Woodfield and here's the best part of the story...they put two of their best mechanics on it for a couple days and THEY COULDNT FIND ANYTHING WRONG with it! On top of that, ALL the work and tests done were covered under my extended warranty. I only paid the $50 deductible. The mechanic called me and said the sensor will trigger with long periods of stasis (in storage) and he proceeded to tell me that my car was the strongest running and most well kept 350z he'd seen in a long time. In the end, I did get screwed out of $158, but at least I know who I'm dealing with at Gerald Nissan and what sort of scare tactics they use. If I can deter anyone from doing business with these guys, my experience was worth it. Best part of all was when I recorded my conversation with the service rep telling me I need a new engine even before any tests were done. Will be posting it on YouTube for anyone to hear. It's a joke, really. Just like Gerald Nissan is a joke. Don't go there. Now you can expect some cookie-cutter response from the Manager saying how important their customers are, blah, blah, blah. Try treating customers right, xxxxxxx. More

Defied all of the stereotypes about car salesmen The team of Howard Krick, James Brown and Tony Micelli were like a three headed beast when it came to my car shopping experience at Gerald Nissan. How The team of Howard Krick, James Brown and Tony Micelli were like a three headed beast when it came to my car shopping experience at Gerald Nissan. Howard led me throughout the dealership and didn't waste my time showing me cars that were out of my target price range. I decided to go with a used 09 Colbalt. From there, Tony joined Howard in making sure that the car was up to snuff. They did a fantastic job in making sure that my car was in tip top shape before I drove it off of the lot. Lastly, James Brown came through huge. My credit is not the best. However, James came up with a financing solution that worked for everyone and he gave me great tips on how to establish myself as a young person new to the world of credit. Thank you so much Gerald Nissan. I will be back when it is time for me to get a new car again. More

Being a recent college graduate I never thought I would purchase a brand new car right away. They got me a great deal on a brand new Sentra with the College Graduate Program. They made sure to stay in my budget and came through with what was promised. Thank you very much Howard, James, and the rest of the Nissan Gerald team! More
