I posted this as I have never had such a response from a manager at a car dealer. All I told him that I will be going with him for when he test drives my car. He would not allow it and that request should be no problem as it’s my vehicle and always do that. Manager told me he’s never done that and just seemed he would not have it. I told him no problem and we can pass on any deal. He told me fine he will pass on the deal and I left the building. Just because he’s been do this for 18 years and has never done it in the past doesn’t mean he couldn’t respect the customers request. I’ve been in sales for 40 years and would never turn down a sale or treat a potential customer like your manager did. My opinion he needs some training again as there are many courses on line these days.
