I came in to Planet Honda in Matteson to buy a new 2013 CR-V, and we couldn't agree on the the payment on my first visit. Came back again after a call to the sales manager the following week and finally ag CR-V, and we couldn't agree on the the payment on my first visit. Came back again after a call to the sales manager the following week and finally agreed on a price that was reasonable and within my budget. I traded in my Ford Escape 2008, In the end I believe what I got for my trade was more than fair. The staff including the two salesman who I worked with Freddy and Kenny were friendly, thorough, knowledgeable and not pushy nor condescending in the slightest, and by far rank as one the best sales people I've had the pleasure of working with. In the end the sales manager Monet was the person who was able to make a deal worth returning for. Leaving Honda, I felt confident in my purchase, having owned Ford SUV's most of my life. I highly recommend this dealership because of its no-pressure atmosphere and relaxed and friendly environment. I would definitely do business here again in the future. More

Wanted to leave and they were insistent in putting us in a lower trim. We left----We purchased a new car, the trim we wanted with everything we wanted and a great price from a different Honda dealer. Received a quote online from Mallory and called ahead before coming to make sure she was there. When we got there another sales associate, Jim, came along and told us that Mallory was busy and couldn't h before coming to make sure she was there. After appraising our car and taking an unnecessary test drive and tour of the waiting room we finally sat down and got an offer. Their offer was extremely below the KBB value of a trade in for my car. The offer was insulting and I asked for my keys back so I could leave. Jim was persistent and would not give me my keys back. He had to go to his sales manager, (GM Tom), and keep working with prices, even after I told him I wanted to leave. The manager became irate when I entered his office to get my keys to my own car back. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. Extremely rude, and keeping keys so you can't leave.... More

Three sales managers worked with us to get the pricing we could afford and the paperwork completed. The add-ons to a car payment should be done when deciding/negotiating. We were there for 5 hours. I was not asked if I had the quote I was given over the internet by Jessica. I was talking to Jessica, but she was not there at the time, so I got another Sales Manager. My mother and I were treated well. I appreciate the honesty by the Sales Managers. Me and my family have been through a lot in the last two years. The last time I bought a car was 10 years ago. The process has significantly changed. This is more than just buying a new car to us. I have heard that Honda's last a long time and two people I know said they never had a problem with their Honda's. My previous car was a 2003 Saturn. I will see what the future holds for my new vehicle. This dealership is also close to home. More
Made an appointment for recall work on pilot. Told it would take an hour. Upon arrival was told 1.5 hours. After waiting 1 3/4 hours I went to find the status. They said they would check. Another ten minutes they come back to tell me they had not started yet. It would be 2 more hours! They offered me a car that was nice but if anything happened to the car, even if not my fault, I was responsible. Was planning on trading in for a new pilot but now think I will look at other models. Horrible Dealership! Do not trust what they say! We bought a used Infiniti with 45,000 miles and they said it had been serviced and inspected by their Honda technicians and was not need of any service. bought a used Infiniti with 45,000 miles and they said it had been serviced and inspected by their Honda technicians and was not need of any service. After 3 weeks the G35 had a nosie coming from the engine bay. We took it to our local Infiniti dealer and they said needs $1000 worth of work cracked/dry rotted belts were coming apart and slapping in the engine bay, transmission hose leak and dripping in the splash pan, all burnt fluids in the axles, transmission, brake fluid and t-case. Mohammad Zidan General Sales Manager of Planet Honda said sorry it's a used vehicle. We just asked him to fix it and we even have a warranty and he won't. Do not buy a used vehicle from this dealership trust me! More

We bought a vehicle from this dealership previously and were happy with both the purchase and follow-up service, so when we started pricing replacements via the internet, we were pleased to find them comin were happy with both the purchase and follow-up service, so when we started pricing replacements via the internet, we were pleased to find them coming in with the lowest price, as they are our local dealer. They followed up our interest in purchasing dutifully, but not in a pushy manner. The on-site service when we purchased our vehicle was top notch. We got there a bit late after checking out some alternatives, but were given a thorough overview of the vehicle, test drive, etc. They honored their internet price quote, and also offered a good finance rate, although the trade-in value we received was rather lower than we had expected. The paperwork went as efficiently as one could hope, but by then it was more than a hour after closing. Nevertheless, the floor salesman (Tom) spent another 45 minutes going through the vehicle operation, helping to personalize the vehicle settings, and making sure the car was spotless--well beyond the call of duty we thought. So overall the purchase was a very positive experience. More
Since this was not the first car I have bought from Planet Honda I had no qualms about going to them to find a used car for my daughter. Tom, the Sales Associate and Moe, the Used Car Sales Manager cou Planet Honda I had no qualms about going to them to find a used car for my daughter. Tom, the Sales Associate and Moe, the Used Car Sales Manager couldn't have been more cordial, helpful and low pressure if they tried. I could go into detail but would not know where to end. Suffice it to say that the overall buying experience was so enjoyable, I not only ended up buying a car for my daughter but also bought a second car for my son. I'm sure when the time comes I will probably being buying a new car from them for myself as well. On a side note, the Service Dept also rates a thumbs up! Thanks guys! More
