Ease and a Gentle Smile I was in an accident one morning which totaled my baby blue pride and joy.... formally known as a car. It was imperative that I find alternate transpo I was in an accident one morning which totaled my baby blue pride and joy.... formally known as a car. It was imperative that I find alternate transportation before the end of the day. I stopped in at George White to see what was available, having bought a vehicle from there once before, and I spotted a used 2014 (also baby blue) Impala that I really connected with. My experience there included: Mark Bathie, who was very pleasant and helpful in expediting the whole process of purchasing a new car; Larry Scheffler, who had us financed and all buttoned up in no time; and a couple of mechanics that worked there who had kind smiles for me when they walked by (which I very much needed). As there was no manual with the car, Mark explained all of the bells and whistles but I realized later that I couldn't remember some of what he said. I returned two days later to see if he could help me get a manual ordered and found out that he had already taken it upon himself to do that for me! I was very grateful for the ease in which all of this happened, as I was still in somewhat of a state of shock, but I never felt like I was being taken advantage of in light of my circumstances. Thank you to George White Chevrolet and it's employees for displaying a much desired and appreciated side of humanity in my time of need. More
