I called and spoke to a sales person for an hour about a specific deal which they had listed on their website. She had to speak with her manager named TIM SWINEA about it to see if they would honor that deal and I even sent them the exact photo of the deal. She tells me my manager will honor it and would like you to come see him. After work I drive a half hour to them and ask for TIM SWINEA. They tell me I cant see TIM SWINEA and need ro speak with a sales rep first and after getting nowhere with the rep who wouldnt even offer me the deal which they specifically have posted on their website and I had the proof right on my phone. He tried offering me a car that had a $6,000 lower msrp for twice the monthly payment of the one I wanted. At first He tells me he has 2 left of the 2016 malibu lts than comes back and says we dont have them anymore. So finally he gets the manager TIM SWINEA to come speak to my wife and I which by the way the sales rep seems terrified of and tells us if he asks tell him you asked for him to come over here which I found hilarious. Man was TIM SWINEA a world class xxxxx. Treated us terribly telling us he can't give us the deal and made it seem as if we were making up some kind of fake story that the deal doesnt exist when i had several screenshots from their specific website stating it. Then goes on to say oh well our website changes everyday even though the deal says expires feb 29th. Than tells us he has nothing to offer us at all basically doesnt even wanna try selling us any other car or making us any type of offer. It was as if he just wanted us to get up and leave which we did and didnt say a word after that. By far the worst customer service ive ever had in my life not to mention their false advertising that they refuse to honor. Will never go back here. At the end of the day it wasnt about the deal it was about the shameful customer service. More

I came to George Matick because they offered very competitive pricing for their used vehicles. Little did I know, a low sticker price came equipped with a low level of customer service. I needed a new license plate to go along with my vehicle. I paid, and was given a temporary plate that would last me two weeks while I awaited the new customized plate in the mail. A few days before my temporary was to run out, I called the dealership and asked if they had timing on when my plate would arrive, as my temporary was going to expire. I was told to "deal directly with Secretary of State." Mind you, the reason I had the dealer order my plate was to alleviate the trouble of standing in a very long line at SOS. Yet still, I found myself standing in line trying to track down this plate. During my time at the SOS counter, I was informed to "deal directly with the dealer, as the plate was registered, there was no reason I shouldn't have it." See why my level of frustration is increasing? I made several more calls to the dealership, speaking with 3 different people who would "look into it," before I finally got a hold of someone who was competent enough to answer my questions. Low and behold, the plate was sitting at their dealership. Why it didn't strike anybody to call and inform me of this is beyond me. Again, incompetence. I live 2 hours away from this dealership, so the request to "come pick it up" was something I was not willing to do, so an agreement to have it over-nighted to my address was made. I, at this time, was also informed it was not in-fact the customized plate I had asked for. They promised to send the original plate, and order the customized plate to be sent. Two days into my "over-nighted" plate promise, and I still don't have it in my possession, but I receive a check for 35$. Not knowing why, I again call the dealership (because apparently they don't know how to make outgoing calls) and am informed that if I want a customized plate, I had to "go to the Secretary of State." Another instance where everyone at this dealership was misinformed of their own capabilities. Had they known on the front end that this was something they couldn't do, I would've walked out of their dealership, plate in hand, a month prior. I forgot to mention that I never received a single follow up call from anyone at the dealership during the first month I owned my vehicle. I've had to replace a tire, have the transmission checked for jerky shifting, and have the remote start re-programmed, all of which I had done at a GM dealership I trusted. My main lesson from this experience? You get what you pay for. If you want a good deal on a vehicle, they have it. If you want competent, friendly customer service, good luck with George Matick. I'm thankful to know never to deal with this dealership again More

Divine Intervention - Extraordinary Service from Martin I walked into Geo Matick Chevrolet only to view and maybe test drive some vehicles before going to another dealership to purchase. I was greeted by Martin Kersey who took the time with me to search for the right vehicle. I was transparent with Martin regarding my history and he with me with the options available. Needless to say I leased a 2015 Equinox the same day. I had an excellent experience with Martin and would not hesitate to recommend him to family and friends. When I left Matick Chev I not only left with a vehicle but with a long term trusted salesperson and hopefully a new friend in Martin. Thank you Martin for your professional and caring service. More

The best experience ever! I must say, this was one of the BEST experiences that I have ever had in purchasing a vehicle. I researched on-line first, selected my vehicle, rece I must say, this was one of the BEST experiences that I have ever had in purchasing a vehicle. I researched on-line first, selected my vehicle, received a quote and a call all in one day. I went into the dealership and was welcomed as soon as i stepped through the doors. I was introduced to Martin and the wonderful experience continued from there. Martin asked questions and listened to what I wanted and what I also wanted to pay. It was close to closing time, so he submitted all my info, and came back with the numbers. I picked up my new Chevrolet Traverse the next morning. While they were prepping my new car, he took me on a tour of the very impressive service department and everyone welcomed me to the GM family. Best experience ever. Thank you Martin! More
Unhappy customer I came in on Friday to lease my wife a new vehicle. I have NEVER, had a more stressful, irritating and overall horrible experience getting a deal befo I came in on Friday to lease my wife a new vehicle. I have NEVER, had a more stressful, irritating and overall horrible experience getting a deal before in my life. My salesman was not very transparent about the workings of this deal at all. I was told that the lender wanted me to get someone to co-sign in order to seal the deal. This was fine with me, I called up my father to seal the deal. When we came in to close, I learned that they secured a deal adding him as a co-borrower instead. This was enough to boil my blood because my salesman did not ask me about this before moving forward. We were going to walk out of the dealership without the new vehicle and go somewhere else. However, the sales manager told us the a co-borrower and co-signer are now synonymous. I have since learned that this is not the TRUTH. How disappointing it is to be lied to just to get a deal. On top of the lies, I was told that they had put my father on the lease first for some financial reason that was unbeknownst to us. Then they told me that the bill would go to my father instead of me just because he was put before me. Even-though, i was paying for this vehicle and it was my car Then also, the car HAD to be registered with his address instead of mine. "Mr Ryans there is nothing we can do about this". It wasn't until I told them that I wanted my old car pulled to the front and all deals to be voided, that they actually tried to make sure that I was satisfied. Never once did anyone apologize or even acknowledge any inconvenience they caused. My salesman complained that these decisions were "above his pay grade ". He only acknowledged his incompetence and not my unhappiness! To make a long story short, I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS DEALERSHIP AND WILL DISCOURAGE ANYONE I KNOW AS WELL. It is too bad that these reviews do not fall under one star. Giving them a star is like giving a passing grade to a dropout student!!!
