LIFE CHANGED FOR THE WORST BEWARE I purchased a vehicle from Matick Chevrolet on December 9th,2019. I chose this dealership over at least 10 others that I visited, I felt like this HUG I purchased a vehicle from Matick Chevrolet on December 9th,2019. I chose this dealership over at least 10 others that I visited, I felt like this HUGE dealership could be trusted...boy was I wrong & boy did it cost me!!!! On January 31st, 2020 the $6700 2011 Chevy equinox I purchased from Matick started making a very loud noise while I was driving it. Once I got it home I parked it. I didn't move it for a day. My ex husband then came over to move it on the street and it wouldn't start, this was February 2nd, 2020.I had it towed to the dealership on February 3, 2020. I was given the "as is" talk by a rude person at a counter across from the GM of used car sales. Then I was told to "calm down" because this person couldn't fathom why I was crying uncontrollably over my truck that wasn't even 2 months old & I owed a note on. Sam, the GM of used car sales came & took me into his office, he said I was told that the vehicle wasn't inspected. I was NEVER told that. EVER. I was told it had no warranty and I couldn't purchase one from Matick, that I was told. Sam waived the $120 fee to put it on the machine to find out what was wrong...then I was told I needed $1000 because it was an engine issue & it cost that much just to take the engine out. I was also given information to take a loan out to cover the cost, which I did because at this point I needed my vehicle to get to work, get my kid to school and my dad to chemotherapy. After almost a week I was told it was something in the engine and the cost would be $4850. I almost had a nervous breakdown. I actually went to the hospital twice for panic attacks due to this issue with the truck. Sam had the price lowered to $3500, which I had to beg my credit union to give me a loan for $2500. Now that the truck is "fixed" which it runs like crap now, the steering wheel shakes, which it didn't do before, but anyway I'm left to pay a car note for $6700, a loan for $1000 and a loan for $2500 for a vehicle I trusted Matick Chevrolet to sell me with no extreme issues. I make $15.77 an hour. My child and I are collecting food from food banks because I can't afford groceries. I'm barely keeping a roof over our head. I keep writing to anyone who will help me because I got screwed over so bad. I could have just bought a $500 piece of junk from a side street dealership by my house & came out better! Matick Chevrolet is all in the Redford paper as being so great & so good. I took that to mean that I wouldn't get taken advantage of and boy was I wrong. I have no idea how I'm going to cover all these costs but I keep praying that God keeps me together so I can keep going. I had to take my daughter out of cheer because I couldn't afford the gas to get her to the games and I have to try & find extra shifts at work to help pay these extra loans, so we can't go to girl scout events either. I know this probably won't matter to anyone. But I was obligated to write about this experience. $10,200 for a 2011 Chevy Equinox that still runs like crap. Someone once said bad things happen to good people, I truly believe that. It happened to me. More

Terrible I have to thank those guys for being so bad that it kept me from making a deal with them. They told me there was no need to make a deposit as they had no other calls and I could come at lunchtime to see it. 30 minutes of driving later, I arrive at the dealership only to be told that the car was sold. What level of incompetency is this? At least expert level. But in the end I am glad I didn't buy anything from them when I saw how they were treating customers, and after I learnt they were making fake reviews to keep a good rating on several sites..... More

This dealer's service department is ripping people off! I tried to have my truck inspected to make sure there was no problems and the woman refused to give me a solid price to inspect my vehicle! She said they charge $118 for each individual spot, tail lights, tires, radiators, radio ect... and up! I asked if she would please give me a price to inspect my entire truck because i was giving it to my daughter for school and wanted to make sure there wasn't any problems and she still wanted me to agree to allow them to charge me an unknown amount afterwards! This is not right to try and rip people off by making them basically write a blank check so they can charge whatever they want! The Great CARFAX scam! I bought a used 2013 Corvette Grand sport from Alan on January 9th of 2018, got the CARFAX report from him, everything looked good, no accidents showi I bought a used 2013 Corvette Grand sport from Alan on January 9th of 2018, got the CARFAX report from him, everything looked good, no accidents showing. Went to trade the car in at Classic Chevrolet on August 1st of 2019, the dealer tells me my Corvette was in a collision (showing December 2017), and my car would be worth less money due to Corvette buyers being concerned with repairs. I flipped! Needless to say I was very pissed! My Corvette had been hit in the rear before I bought the car and the CARFAX showed it to be clear of accidents. I figure the previous owner took it in and the dealership advised them to have it repaired and trade it in, accident was hidden from CARFAX until after it was sold. More

Service department was great once before. I am done with them. I used them for three years and I am done. They replaced a Thermostat Housing and they charge $118 just to diagnose a check engi I am done with them. I used them for three years and I am done. They replaced a Thermostat Housing and they charge $118 just to diagnose a check engine light. Anyways, they fixed the housing and turned the light off and stopped any coolant leaking. A few days later, coolant was leaking again. Took it to my mechanic I used to go to and found out the radiator was bad. The dealership didn't notice this? They didn't do a pressure test in the hoses? Instead of giving me a packet of upcoming maintenance, why not tell me my radiator is in bad shape? They rip people off, make you think you're getting a good deal and then stick it in your xxx. It wouldn't surprise me if they screwed up my radiator on purpose so it would leak and need to be replaced. More
