Service Department I having been trying to deal with their Kia service department and have had a horrible experience. I purchased a battery for my Kia from another deale I having been trying to deal with their Kia service department and have had a horrible experience. I purchased a battery for my Kia from another dealer, the dealer was not told it had only a one year warranty and neither was I. When the other dealer called to have it replaced they were told I had to bring the car to Kia to have it tested, not just the battery, the car and leave it for at least 2 hours. After considerable inconvenience (I live and work an hour from the dealer) I brought my car in and left it as required by the service department. I received a call a few hours later that yes indeed my battery had failed, however, it has only a one year warranty. They were told by the other dealer and by me exactly what date the battery was purchased (it was 21 months old and they knew it when they told me to bring it in)and how and never once did they say the battery is not covered even if it is bad. Horrible communication by Ken and especially by Robbie, who is a manager with no people skills at all. More

I took the car in to have them look at the transmission The day after service I drove in the am hrs toward Spokane Wa as soon as I was on the ramp to the highway the transmission slipped I felt the car shak The day after service I drove in the am hrs toward Spokane Wa as soon as I was on the ramp to the highway the transmission slipped I felt the car shake. 10 MILES DOWN THE ROAD after stopping for a traffic light and speeding up the the car shook again twice after that it drove with no problems.I"am leaving for a trip to California Saturday.
