I have to say that in my 40+ years of buying cars, this was the best experience I've ever had. Not only to they carry incredibly low mileage high line vehicles, they can probably find you anything that you are looking for. I worked with Rob, who is an industry veteran. Instantly likeable, with very detailed knowledge of all the best brands he worked tirelessly to help me find the best car for me. The rest of the team, including Joe are all friendly and most importantly, honest. Unless I move out of state, I won't be buying any vehicles except from these guys. In fact if I do move out of state, they could still help me as they sell cars all over the world. Do yourself a favor and check these guys out. More

They addressed all our concerns about purchasing the Cayenne without seeing it in person, especially about the shipment of the car being around 7 hours away from our home. In the end we were able to take the trip down there ourselves..the car itself was as promised!! All the staff there was very professional and friendly ! My on line purchase did not go too well. My experience was strictly based on buying a car from Genuine Motorcars on-line as I was out of state. My first call to GM was answered by Nick. There was a little bit of a red flag when my inquiry into a car that had been at the dealer for sometime (recent reduction of $1000 in price) when conicidently another person was due into the dealership on that same car that very same time. I told Nick that was no problem as I’m in no hurry etc. but he insisted we pursue the deal. Nick was gracious enough to take a video of the car and send it to me. This was a 14 year old car so I did not expect perfection. Nick did point out several areas of scratches that he assured me would be fixed by the man who comes to the dealership weekly before he would ship the car to me. Ended up receiving the car with only one scratch fixed but the repair looked more like it was done with a bottle of white out as it was very thick and sloppy. Front bumper repair was bad a white paint has heavy running of paint. When asked about it Nick then indicated issues with location of scratch, color matching etc. which none of that was mentioned when assuring me verbally in the video this was all going to be made right before the car was shippped to me. Nick did later send me a bottle of touch up paint which was nice but I had already made the paint repairs. Three times Nick indicated he would send me the service report on the vehicle. Unfortunately Nick never provided that to me. He assured me each vehicle received a thorough inspection at the dealer and based on that information I was certainly interested in knowing the overall condition. Nick was very nice and respectful when I spoke to him. He did apologize at the end as he admitted perhaps he was a tad guilty of over-selling the car. My emails were not answered or addressed post sale as they were before I purchased the car. Having now driven the car there is an obvious noise in the rear which the local shop tells me is rear trailing arm busings are bad. When driving the car over 35 mph the steering wheel shook and obviously tires were out of balance so I had to pay to have them balanced. There is a very loud and obvious rattle under dashboard when driving 5-10 mph which the cause is unknown. Right head lamp was burned out and both parking lamps broken. Bulbs were $40 and 2 hours of time to remove and reinstall. These were the items I was interested in when Nick assured me of a thorough inspection by the service department. I expected to perform needed updating on a 14 year old car and have replaced all hoses, fluids, battery and belt. Again I expected that. I am NOT passing blame or posing judgment but simply making someone who may purchase online from Genuine Motorcars to make sure you do a better job of tying up loose ends and making sure promises are kept than I did. The other area that Nick over sold was assuring me of the high quality shipping companies they use. He spoke at length about how they handle all issues and problem on behalf of the client. When I shared with him the poor job of the shipper not being able to even find our city, how we had to drive down the interstate trying to find the semi-truck containing our car as the driver could not speak English having our car unloaded in a vacant lot etc. Nick then told me that once the shipper leaves the dealership there’s nothing he can do. I explained to Nick that he is assuming the role of the buyers eyes and ears in a situation like this. Over a career it’s better to loose a sale or two due to the fact you are painfully honest with a buyer than over sell a car and loose a client. Ironically during the purchase process I had emailed Nick about a car for my mother in law but after getting this car and the deal leaving a bad taste in my mouth I had second thoughts. Luckily that email was one of the ones Nick never responded to. I’m sure Genuine Motorcars does their very best to provide the best customer service possible. Just do a better job than I did if you happed to buy one on line. More
