My First Subaru Having only purchased two cars in my 46 years I was a bit nervous going into this situation. Both of those cars were from another manufacturer which we have been happy with, but many friends have and recommended trying a Subaru so we decided to check it out. My husband and I (two men) along with our two preteen boys stopped off at Center Subaru for a look. We looked around a bit, and as we got closer to the showroom we were warmly greeted by Tai. He got us set up for a test drive and took care of getting a valuation on our trade in once he knew we were sold on a Forester. There was no pressure, and it ended up being a positive experience. (And no one seemed to mind that my boys tested out the seats in all the indoor show models over the couple hours we were there.) We left that day with a new car, and we will be heading back when it’s time to replace our other car. More

When the time came to make a final decision Johnathan actually provides us with several options to choose from (about 5 or 6) so that we could see what all of our options were. He didn’t mention once what type of commission he would make or even try to encourage us to add in options to increase his sale. We told him the payment we wanted and how much we were willing to put down and he made it happen! And I respect that. We WILL be back in a few months to upgrade my husbands car as well. More

He was personable, informative, and dealt with us without pressure. He helped us with a loaner issue after being told we could not have one for a scheduled recall on an air bag repair, much to our needful relief, and was otherwise so helpful that we decided to turn in our older car and we purchased one from him. If he remains at this dealership for three years we plan to see him again. More

Their internet price for certified subarus beat every other dealership in Ct both times by $2000-$3000 dollars easily for similar imprezas and foresters ( in terms of mileage, features, and year of model). My first experience was with Robert when I bought my Impreza. It was basically like buying a new car even though it was three years old at the time. He was very kind and worked with me to achieve an even better price than listed. Roughly a year later when my wife was in need of a new car I found my self for a second time at center Subaru. This time for a forester, I worked with Hiram. He was one of the most patient and nicest salesmen I've ever met. I was fairly difficult in terms of a customer. I like to have every expense explained and discuss if it's truly needed. Several times I stopped to actually calculate the numbers I was presented with. He never once got short, or seemed upset he was very accommodating. I was given a loyalty coupon from my first purchase for $500 on any future purchases of a Subaru. Even though I didn't have the physical copy of it Hiram and miles worked very hard to get in touch with Subaru of America to make sure that I received my discount. I was heavily impressed with the customer service, I never once felt as if they were angry with my constant inquiries and neediness for clarification. James worked with me both times and was amazing. I rarely needed to ask questions. For he covered every inch of the sales agreement and associated items (warranty, sales contract,). He made it very clear Subaru wants me to be satisfied. I was given an extended warranty for a fair price both times. Both cars are 2015s, but they look and feel like brand new. If your looking for a nice vehicle at an affordable price I definitely recommend buying a certified Subaru at center Subaru in Torrington. I've had my Impreza for a year and love it. My forester is still new, but I expect my wife will feel the same as I do after a year. most likely I won't need a new vehicle for several years, but when the times comes I will first look to center Subaru. More
