Very poor experience with this dealer. Tried to buy a vehicle here three times and each time I get the typical dealer runaround. Told dealership I did not want VIN etching. I did not review contract closely at signing it as everything else had been upfront. The finance manager did not disclose it as he should have. I would just like to thank Alejandro Cabrera for his help over the weekend. He help me and my wife out, by letting us test drive a couple of Jeep Wranglers (Sahara & Rubicon) versions. This is a follow up to my prior review of March regarding the purchase of a 2010 Honda CRV. After making numerous promises that the car would be good running condition upon acceptance, it turns out that the the purchase of a 2010 Honda CRV. After making numerous promises that the car would be good running condition upon acceptance, it turns out that the promises were a bald faced lie.by the sales rep, service dept, and the dealership administration. Alejandro Cabrera never took it upon himself to coordinate the resolution of the problem. The problem, at first, appeared to be a simple fix with the driver's side electric door lock. Upon further examination by our trusted mechanic, there were more serious problems that should have been identified by any competent service department. They were a faulty air conditioner compressor and two bad sway bars. Obviously, there was no meaningful inspection of the vehicle prior to sale or these conditions would have been identified. The repairs totaled $900. Not only were the correct repairs expensive, the poor condition of the sway bars could have caused or contributed to a serious accident! Gengras did nothing to rectify these issues, or call me to arrange a fix. These guys are not trustworthy. In the meantime, my lawyer is drawing up papers to serve on Gengras in the near future. I don't want to see a note from someone at Gengras saying call me. I want them to call me and tell what they will do for me. They are a disgrace! Jeff Bruneau More
