Day 1 - Wed, Aug. 3rd, Dropped off at 7:30 a.m., surrendered extended warranty information for a second time. Received a text stating no additional info on the vehicle 3rd, Dropped off at 7:30 a.m., surrendered extended warranty information for a second time. Received a text stating no additional info on the vehicle. They will contact me when they do—day 2 - Thur. On Aug 4th, No communication from the service advisor at 12:35 p.m. so left a voice message. I called back at 3:40 p.m. and my advisor stated they found low rear brake pads and a small leak in the radiator. Nothing about the right rear door lock actuator for which it came in. When I questioned him he said yes they have all the parts in stock, but he needed the Warranty Company so he check to see if it was all parts are covered. I gave them the Warranty Company for the 3rd time! Day 3 - Friday, Aug. 5th, This jeep has been in the shop for 24.5 working hours when I called at 2 p.m. and was told the advisor is on the phone with the Warranty Company and would call back. (wouldn't all diagnoses and warranty verification be done on day one)? I received a call back at 3:05 p.m. to inform me the radiator and actuator are covered, but he didn't have the actuator as first thought and delivery was a month out. I asked to install an aftermarket one. At this point, the jeep has been in the service department for 25+ hours and nothing has been repaired—day 4 - Sat. Aug. 6th, I didn't hear from anyone all day. Now we're up to 33+ working hours. Day 5 - Mon. On Aug 8th called at 12:35 p.m. to get a progress report. The technician called me back at 2:55 p.m. to inform me the jeep is ready for pick-up. I'm not sure why it took 5 days or 40+ working hours to complete these tasks when the rate from ALLDATA allows 3.8 hours for a Radiator, R&R and 1.3 hours for a Rear Door Lock Actuator, R&R 1.3 hours, and I'll throw in miscellaneous delivery time, etc. of 12 hours. That's a total of 17.1 hours! I had to wash my vehicle inside and out, disinfect and rinse off the residual anti-freeze. More
Ethan Davis helped me into the 2022 Jeep Wrangler I was looking for, and the entire Gengras team was there to help the entire way. I would recommend giving them a try. Just picked up my car from an oil change and full detail. It has noticeably new scratches on one side and a scratch down to metal on the other. Second time my car had damage from having it serviced. I also had to find it myself in the parking lot in the rain parked very far from the building by hitting my alarm. The worst experience ever. I am done with Gengras and will never recommend. More
This place is an absolute hot mess with absolutely atrocious customer service all the way up to and including the GM. I reached out to the GM Jim Tucker (who emailed me first) and mentioned that the t atrocious customer service all the way up to and including the GM. I reached out to the GM Jim Tucker (who emailed me first) and mentioned that the transaction left a lot to be desired. He sent me back a boilerplate one-line reply thanking me and then when I replied to that the email bounced. I called and left a message - no call back. He's obviously using some kind of automated software and didn't give a xxxx at all that my buying experience there had been so awful. The only bright side of the entire transaction was my salesman Mo, who went above and beyond to get me in the car. I've owned several high end brands (Porsche, BMW, Land Rover) and decided to treat myself to a Challenger for a fun spare car. The ONLY reason I stayed with Gengras was because of Mo. Everything else about this place - from the dishonest online prices (they list prices that include every possible discount, and most people will not qualify for all of them) to the fact that I sat around waiting for almost 2 hours for a finance person despite having an appointment. The people next to me in the waiting room were the FIRST appointment of the day and they had also been waiting for over an hour as well. The nonsensical ceramic coat that Gengras makes you buy for ~$1500? That's ridiculous too. I got it for $700 on my car, so when you negotiate with them, keep that in mind. They force you to buy the ceramic coat because it's already on the car. I never would have bought it otherwise. Just another shady aspect of this terrible dealership. Never, ever again. Mo was great, and the home delivery staff was very professional (despite also being late). Otherwise I have nothing positive to say about this place, it was awful. Mo should go work somewhere else.
