Chose to work with Scap Jeep based on previous reviews of their in house wrangler specialist Scott. The entire process from start to finish was seamless. Scott worked with me on a special Jeep Gladiator build and used his prowess to help me get exactly what I wanted at a price I felt comfortable paying. He set clear expectations of the build time and even with supply chain issues I still received car within window set forth. On the day of pick up, the entire process went seamlessly. Scott spent a significant amount of time helping me to get acclimated to vehicle as well as showing me all the various features within the vehicle. As a first time leading a new car, I could not have imagined a better experience. I would recommend Scott and his team 100 times out of 100! More
Worst Service Experience Ever from Service Manager Phil Worst Service Experience Ever from Service Manager Phil at Scap. This is long because its bazaar after bazaar then the big lie. I called Scap for Worst Service Experience Ever from Service Manager Phil at Scap. This is long because its bazaar after bazaar then the big lie. I called Scap for an appointment due to paint bubbling on the hood of my 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee which is covered by Jeep. Was told to bring it anytime for review and I wouldn’t have to leave it. Upon arrival, Phil said I had to leave the car and when I explained what I was told on the phone he started to get rude. We then had a brief conversation about an air conditioning repair months prior unrelated to Scap. Phil ground an area and took photos. He got ruder when he pointed out one of the paint bubbles had a crack and I made clear I created it with my fingernail. He ignored me and his attitude made me extremely uncomfortable. He told me “a pebble cracked the paint and let water in which traveled along the forward edge of the hood and created the bubbling, and that the same pebble went through the grill and took out the air-conditioning. And due to the cracked bubble Jeep probably wouldn’t cover the paint”. I called him 2 hours later for clarification and he rudely said “I’d like to thank you for insulting my intelligence”. Then he repeated it. Then he very rudely said he knows what he’s doing and he would call me in two days – he never did. A week later I called and he said Jeep rejected the claim. I asked if I could dispute it and he said no and that I couldn’t see any of the communication between him and jeep and it would cost me around $3000. I called Jeep and they said Scap never submitted the claim to them. When I called Danbury Jeep they treated me with respect. They said it was a common problem and replaced the hood under Jeeps warranty – even threw in a free oil change. More
